  1. Worth noting that I arbitrarily chose Silatolu as the "bar" for the bust list. Worley is likely to play his way out of this group in 2021 and beyond. Outside chance Butler could if he just has a lengthy career, although if he is just a journeyman rotational guy, still a bust IMO.
  2. Yeah he was a fuging brute. I thought he was going to be great for us.
  3. Here is a list of the lowest CarAV(a PFR stat) for players from the 2018 and earlier drafts by round(Greg Little is a 3 CarAV and Will Grier a 1, FWIW): First Round *Jeff Otah - 14 Vernon Butler - 11 Jason Peter - 10 *Rae Carruth - 8 Rashard Anderson - 6 Second Round Amini Silatolu - 18 Sherrod Martin - 17 Keary Colbert - 14 Kony Ealy - 12 Shawn King - 10 Everette Brown - 6 Dwayne Jarrett - 4 Jimmy Clausen - 3 Bruce Nelson - 2 Third Round Daryl Worley - 18 Terrell McClain - 18 Chuck Wiley - 13 Dan Connor - 13 Leander Jordan - 9 Rashad Butler - 7 Winslow Oliver - 6 Sione Fua - 5 Kinnon Tatum - 2 Daeshon Hall - 1 Mike Seidman - 1 Rashaan Gaulden - 1 Armanti Edwards - 1 Corvey Irvin - 1 Eric Shelton - 0 Atiyyah Ellison - 0 Mitch Marrow - 0 JC Price - 0
  4. From the recent Greg Little thread, this idea came to me. What are the biggest Panthers draft busts(Top 3 Rounds limited)? Here is a link to our all-time draft history to reference. State your case for the all-time biggest bust.
  5. 100%. If he can't get it by now, I just don't see him all of a sudden getting it.
  6. I don't know that I would call Carter exactly a stellar coverage guy either. I believe in his career Perryman has allowed a lower passer rating when targeted than Carter has.
  7. That would probably make a good thread actually. There is some stiff competition in that group. Technically, Grier is probably a little to soon to include, although the story is most likely written.
  8. Even Hurney might pass on Greg. Man, he has to be one of the biggest top 3 round busts we have ever had. Stiff competition for that, unfortunately.
  9. I somewhat wonder if he is even going to make the team at this point.
  10. Did he smell of rich mahogany and Bud Light Lime?
  11. Well that second part is already true so......
  12. I remember Pizza Inn as a kid. I probably haven't eaten at one since being a kid(or a CiCi's). I would probably never go to Pizza Inn again. The nostalgia aspect would be ruined by the reality of how bad that it actually probably was/is. I'll let that memory remain frozen in time.
  13. Perryman seems to have a far higher ceiling than Carter, so I would assume he would easily win that job. But.....gotta seen the field for it to be much of a competition. It will be a pretty big disappointment and a bad signing if we can't get Perryman on the field with some regularity. He's a good player when he is on the field.
  14. I believe you mean @Zod's IRL alt account, @Jeremy Igo
  15. Yeah, I don't want a Jerry Jones/Dan Snyder scenario to unfold just because we didn't hire the right head coach. That isn't the lesson I want the owner to take away from the next couple of seasons if we are still struggling.
  16. Curious how he is looking, as well. This was a guy I honestly thought was going to be a two deep player if not challenge for a starting spot.
  17. I don't presume to know anything about him other than what he does on here. The fact that he is getting under your skin pretty much makes him successful at what he is doing. It's really just best to either ignore him or not take anything he says seriously. Once you know he is trolling, it's extremely simple to deal with.
  18. Yep. And we have had a couple of seasons in the past decade torpedoed by the injury bug, as well. I've never actually gone into a season being on pins and needles about injuries, but this is going to be the one. It's crazy the amount of injury prone guys we have in our two deep. We just gotta hope we can buck that trend for at least one season.
