  1. Yeah but we are off the hook for his salary, and we didnt want him to begin with, so getting ANYTHING is better than having to release him and eat all his money this year.
  2. Yes. There is a definite possibility of that. They could want to take Waddle or Smith and pair them up with Tua. They definitely need another weapon down there. Totally could happen. And remember, there is ALWAYS a couple headscratcher picks that nobody saw coming. Will happen tomorrow. It always happens.
  3. LOL its cute you think that the owner is not going to voice his opinion on who he wants drafted in the first round - especially when its a QB we are talking about. Im sure pretty much ALL owners have their hands in the proverbial cookie jar when it comes to things like this. Hell, did you read the recent article about the Eagles? Lurie pretty much acts like another scout for the team and is all up in the draft and coaching process. Look at it from the owners perspective - would you pay billions of dollars for a team, and then not want to be involved in building the roster, at least a little bit?
  4. Agreed and I personally do not think they plan on drafting a QB in round 1.
  5. PREDICTION - Either an offensive or defensive player will be selected with our first pick in the draft.
  6. Lol that was a long time ago. I’m old and weak now.
  7. People have extremely fast metabolisms when they are young…especially when you’re a high level athlete. I’m 6’4” and going into college I weighed 160 ( I played baseball at a local D1 school). A few years later I was only about 170 but I was strong as an ox and I was ripped up. Everybody is different…
  8. LOL. 3 firsts probably at a minimum. You remember all the chatter around Watson? Yeah well Watson has never won an MVP award.
  9. The 2020's are ALSO a terrible time for fashion.
  10. The 90's were a terrible time for fashion.
  11. DOMINATE THAT FOE!!!!
  12. Scott Fitterer and Matt Rhule have not tried. Marty Hurney and Ron Rivera did....
  13. Right because if we don't take a Tackle at 8, there is no other possible way to land a good player at that position....
  14. Drafting Chase at 8 would be FAR from shitting the bed. Other teams would be shitting themselves at the thought of going up against our offense.
  15. OK, well if that happens then Pitts should still be there for us to take. Regardless, if we stay pat at 8, and there is a run on QBs like we all know there is going to be - one of the top non-QB players is going to be sitting there for us to grab. I hope we do.
  16. Yes. There is a huge shot that he’s there. Assume 4 QBs are taken in the first 4 picks. Perhaps even 5 QBs in the first 6 picks. Sitting at 8 almost every single stud player that’s not a QB will be available to us.
  17. I definitely think thats where we are heading. Our arrow is pointing up. Now, Fitterer and Rhule need to knock this draft into the cheap seats and we should be good to go.
  18. Yes. Take Chase at 8 and kill people on offense for the next 5 years.
  19. This is not your daddy’s Panthers. Might as well be an expansion team at this point. You people have got to get rid of the ghost of Hurney/Richardson. They’re not here anymore.
  20. How is this a nightmare? We take Chase and never look back.
  21. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Am I the only one around here who HATES the idea of trading back in this particular draft? We likely will not be picking this high in the first round for quite some time. Also, this year is weird as there will be 3 or 4 QBs selected kin the first 5 picks. We will almost have our choice of any non-QB stud player. So, why not just take our next CMC or Luke at 8 and call it good?
  22. We are legit looking great on paper right now. Fitterer and Rhule have seriously worked magic on this roster lately. They've set themselves up to actually take BPA in the first round. Whomever we get is going to be a stud and is going to be the cherry on top of an A+ offseason for this team. Im so excited for next season. I just hope Darnold can find himself under Rhule and Brady....if so, watch out NFC!
