  1. I believe I have been saying the same thing for a while now. Corral reminds me a lot of a young Aaron Rodgers from when he was coming out of Cal. In fact, Corral is a much more productive, polished overall product when both are compared at the same points in their careers. Obviously that doesn't mean Corral will turn into current Rodgers, as thats probably impossible, but hes got the goods. If he can put the mental side of things together quickly, we will be in good shape. Having a starting QB on a 3rd round rookie contract will go a long way to building this team into a contender.
  2. This would be by far the most insane, ridiculous, pointless move we could make. It would set this team back 5 years at least. With that being said, I expect them to do it lol.
  3. I believe the dead cap hit for us, had we traded him this year, would have been ginormous.
  4. Its been mangled and butchered beyond any recognition.
  5. I agree. Also I think the addition of Xavier Woods at S on defense will help shore that up, and we have a couple promising youngsters for the other position. Still have a massive, gaping hole at LB...not sure what they're gonna do there, as Brandon Smith likely will not be ready to start anytime soon. Defense should be good though with getting Horn back, hopefully CJ can make a jump and we know what we have in Donte Jackson.
  6. We're in the exact same spot with Sam. Nobody is going to want him and pay him 19 million dollars this year, so we're apparently stuck with him as starter until Matt beats him out.
  7. Well if anybody knows about shitty QB play, its Brady Quinn.
  8. 34 is not old for the Earth, just old to be running around with 21 year old beasts all day long.
  9. Nice. Looks like we may have gotten a steal. Hes naturally a Guard it seems like, and was playing T due to need at Tennessee. People get injured in football, doesn't mean they are injury prone. This information is very promising to me. We can peg him in at RG and get moving.
  10. What the hell caused him to fall all the way to the 6th round then? Doesn't seem like he had a bad year last year or anything...
  11. Lol. Some of y’all have a very conspiratorial way of looking at absolutely everything
  12. Well Ben is known for being a very good evaluator of rookie QBs so I’ll go with his opinion. Seems like Fitty and Rhule feel the same. McAdoo may look like a schlub but he’s actually a very good OC. He landed a head coaching gig out of it.
  13. And regardless it’s a 7th rounder on a guy who ran a 4.23. Who cares?
  14. Whatever. I could not be happier with how it worked out. I’m about positive we were dialed in on either Ickey or Neal however it would have played out. And getting Corral in the 3rd is just icing on the cake.
  15. SHEEEEEEEEEEEESH. Give me all the super elite RAS guys we can get. It usually works out pretty well with them.
  16. Very likely Darnold due to how limited he is in what he can do. Nobody ever accused Sam of being a cerebral QB, know what I’m saying? Although Brady wasn’t exactly lighting it up with his play calls either. Just a perfect storm of stupidity on all sides really.
  17. Actually reminds me of young Aaron Rodgers when he was coming out of Cal. A lot of the same qualities. Insane quick release, very mobile, strong, accurate arm.
  18. Yeah it’s not like he’s even a small dude. 6 foot 2, 212-215 ish lbs. if he can get to 220 or so that’s perfectly fine.
  19. This was a guy rumored to go in the first and we got him at the end of the 3rd. Grand slam homer.
