We need three new quality players in the interior. You cannot have a season wrecked by an injury.

Good news https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2024/01/31/panthers-offense-2024-nfl-draft-wr-class/

Fair. Though I do think going through a different "franchise quarterback" that he forced every year and being on his sixth head coach since he took over (counting interim) sets off the alarm bells of an impatient person.

David, hi, some questions about this hire
Verge replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
That seems like a bit of an exaggeration -
Definitely like the hire. I think a Shanahan system is what Bryce needs and Canales has the kind of energy we haven't had in a long time.

This is an insane overreaction for a rookie quarterback tbh. He showed plenty of flashes and to act otherwise is silly. He gets at least one to two more years. I don't think any of Young's weapons would start on another team except Thielen who would be a WR2-3, certainly not the best weapon on the team. Offensive line was a mess, play calling was a mess early on. You have to give him time to develop and surround him with some talent. I know it's bad when you mirror it to Stroud, but you have to realize the talent gap between the two teams is pretty wide.

He looked great! Excited to see him grow even more. He clearly has a unique ability to show up big in comeback runs when things around him are at least functional.

Sorry for the delayed response. I was out of state for my fiancée graduation. I'll put together some clips of what I'm talking about and dig into a little more tonight. I'll throw it in an article and post it. I'm not saying Young is Tom Brady by any means, but he shows some great flashes given his circumstance and the talent around him especially for a rookie.
-
Bryce has a lot of iffy tape. He also has moments where you really see something special. Talent surrounding him and stability should help bring out more of that specialness.

We definitely have the worst skill position group in the league. We also happen to have the worst offensive line play in the league. Not really a good combination to support a rookie quarterback. I think it's almost impossible to evaluate his play at the moment.

The Athletic: “‘Hunger Games’ culture” at BOFA
Verge replied to SuperBowlBound's topic in Carolina Panthers
God this is beyond pathetic -
Hi all! I recently did an article on David Tepper and the state of the Panthers. I appreciate the read! https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/2023/11/28/carolina-panthers-david-tepper-bryce-young-frank-reich

What is with all these weird assumptions? She got a WFH job and can spend more time with her family.

How do the Panthers move forward in a tanked season
Verge replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not using tanking in that context... -
A little piece I wrote about the rest of Carolina's season. A couple notes: -I don't think Burns is available but they should listen -I definitely think they are in the WR market for a couple of guys https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/10/25/panthers-bye-week-frank-reich-bryce-young-thomas-brown

Hi all! Had the opportunity to write about Bryce this week. It isn't as in depth as I usually do and should be able to write something more in depth for Panthers Wire, but hopefully this can brighten your spirits somewhat https://draftwire.usatoday.com/2023/10/16/bryce-young-rookie-draft-improvement-panthers-winless/

Who were his hand picked GMs again?

I typed up an article on the wide receiver problem that Carolina unfortunately finds itself in...once again. As always, thanks for checking out my work! I do not get paid for clicks and am always just excited to share my work with this forum. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/09/19/panthers-wr-problem-bryce-young-adam-thielen-dj-chark-terrace-marshall-jonathan-mingo/

Some insane takes tbh.

I don't get paid for clicks, shares, etc. I think Horn when healthy is a top five corner and I think Chinn has shown to excel in coverage, and think he will continue to do so more in the Evero defense when he spends the majority of time at nickel. I had considered DJAX but Chinn is an elite defensive player by any measure.
