We do have injuries, but a DE who wants $30M plus should be able to create on his own. He's on the edge and if he is so damn good he should be causing a lot more disruption than he is. Look at what Peppers did, look at what Bosa does.....other examples out there as well. He is not THAT GUY. He can't play the run..AT ALL. He tackled the all time great running back AIR last week. I am going to pile on Burns because of who he thinks he is and who he is NOT.

The D should have balled out in that Tampa game then if they wanted Wilks to get the job. He made a very stupid decision to rely on his defense by giving the ball back to Tampa and TB. We didn't have the secondary to stop them and the rest is history.

I would trade 2025 1st, TMJ, David Tepper's wife, and Fitterer's fruit pie stash to get Harrison Jr.

So what's his position? He isn't a DE, he can't contain or stop the run. Is he an OLB?? Can he cover? Burns is a disruptor, no argument there, but teams know he can't stop the run and teams that can run the ball have a field day running to his side. Double Brown and run where Burns is lined up. He doesn't even stand up the OL blocking him to at least slow the run down and at the very worst he tackles air like he did today. He is not worth $30M. If we could get a 1st and 3rd at this point we should take it.

Brown goes nowhere. He's been great the last season and a half.
