Regardless of the league being a passing league. There has to be some balance. Many either forget, or just don't understand the hardest offensive play to defend is a well executed run play. With most defenses running more defensive backs, a commitment to running the ball should pay off in spades.

Penny is an impressive running back. One that still hasn't proven anything in the NFL. His best year isn't even close to Sanders best year, and people in here be talking out their asses with no flow control. I'm excited in the fact that Penny is my kind of back. I'm not getting excited on the fact that Penny hasn't proven anything. So what does this all mean? I believe it's just another piece, to ensure we have quality depth and rotation at running back. The most often injured position in the NFL.

First, we didn't have an opportunity in drafting the best receivers in the class. So that meant that we had to pick from players for various reasons, were ranked on a lower tier. Our decision makers chose the player that has the most upside. That developing that talent that exists in him, puts him in the top tier of receivers. Several experts are willing to argue that he is capable of being the best from this draft class. Seems pretty obvious to me why Dan Morgan drafted this guy.

We added to vets, so our guys that were still I under contract... they are the depth. I don't see any neglect.

I want Bryce to shine as much as any Panther fan should. I'm also intelligent enough to know that the conditions of his rookie season sucked ass, and that's putting it nicely. I just don't understand the, oh he's got to be on a short leash. Really? How is that going to help him? New offensive system. New oline. New offensive playmakers (who knows how many will be making major contributions this year, that isnyet to be seen). He has to be given the keys, and allowed to grow with the system throughout the season.

Not that I feel the Panthers are in position to draft ahead...although ideally you don't pass up a talent though you may have a starter. As much as I enjoy Hubbard, he shouldn't be the starter, despite his admirable efforts at taking it and holding onto it last season.
