Nobody wanted to lose Moore. It was the price to move up with the bears. They were wanting and needing offensive talent. Not defensive. As far as Mingo, our staff wasn't alone with their evaluation of Mingo. Steve Smith and professionals all around the league were also on the same page that our scouts and front office was during the off-season. Players still need time to develop, and Mingo was not even close to a polished product coming out of college. He has the talent, desire, and dawg in him to improve. He will. Anybody expecting him to be anything but a 3rd receiver at best, placed incredibly short sited expectations upon him .

We seriously need a laughing our freaking ass off emoji.

Yet couldn't have been done without it. They admitted he wasn't a player they WANTED to lose, but that is the price one must pay to move up.

Panthers Really Lost to This Falcons Team SMH....

All sinners are forgiven before they even ask. Doesn’t change the fact that what he did was absolutely horrible. No argument there. None of us are perfect. -

ITT: Predict Justin Jefferson's stats for tomorrow

In the spirit that most of these predictions are not realistic.... 543 yards and 10 TD's. -
Use a lead blocker, get the running game going

The guys that we have that are healthy, have to step up their execution. It's as simple as that. -
This here has been the biggest issue. The other guys are great players, but without the unity and chemistry of the guards that play beside them, it brings the whole unit down.

There really.is no reason not to.

Certainly still coming back from it. Am sure he'll improve as the season progresses.

The trade was all about acquiring draft capital. This isn't rocket science.

Perspective is everything. No.matter the perspectives, yours, mine, none of them match the franchise's. Lol @ crazy. That's a similar perspective I share when I read your post regarding this subject.

Yup. You sure outsmarted me.

First, the draft is always a crap shot. Even with the best drafting teams. 2nd, what we do with draft picks doesn't reflect back to trade. We traded an expensive player that most fans didn't even want on the team with the contract he had, and we got picks in return. Done. Trade was successful. The 49ers got arguably the best RB in the league, and we got a handful of picks that our front office was willing to accept for. Successful trade. We then used used multiple picks and moved our best receiver that many, including Steve Smith, says wasn't a true elite #1 receiver, to be able to trade up to grab the teams franchise QB. CMC was traded away for the team to aquire their franchise QB. Successful. Nothing that we do with the remaining picks has ANYTHING to do with trading away CMC.

These short sited hot takes are always hilarious!

One thing is can't say, is that our pass rush has needed his help. Develop him. Is a blessing we don't have to rush him.

Nobody is alright with losing. What a stupid perspective.

The reality is it takes time to implement new offensive system. Specially with players who are accustomed to playing with each other. Add to that the injuries we've been dealing with on the oline, and even at receiver, it's very understandable why the offense has struggled to find ANY consistency. There is no need to blame the coaches, the GM, or even the owner. These things are beyond anybody's control. All that can be done is to keep.moving forward with getting better execution each and every week, Regardless whom is on the field.

We needed a QB. I have zero problems with them moving up to draft their guy. I'm also never going to judge him on his rookie season. He has shown me enough with his poise and accuracy, that I'm willing to watch him develop. I am confident the team will continue to add offensive talent around him.

NFL executives give Bryce Young early grade

You don't grade any player on 2 weeks of play, regardless of the cost to acquire the player. I expect better from you. -

The guard position has to work with a player on either side of him. Guard play absolutely has a direct impact on tackle play. I'm not worried about Icky. The guards needs to assert themselves, and establish some consistency, so the line can play as a unit. As I've said before, Young will be fine. -
Even more pressure numbers (not for the weak stomach)
pantherclaw replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It takes time for offensive lines to gel. We haven't had the same starting 5 for even 2 games. -

There is a saying that comes to mind. Best laid plans of mice and men. There is the.... Want to make God laugh? Tell him your plans. NFL, much like life, doesn't often go the way we want, no matter how well we make decisions, and no matter our intentions. Nobody on the staff invisioned this kind of start. While some may want to give up and tank... there is a lot of football left, ND I'm going to continue to enjoy watching our team make plays, players develop, and hopefully win every game they can. -

This is the most unbiased post in this thread. -
This is believable? That everyone whom wanted Bryce Young is now intentionally slowing his development? That's stupidity on a level that no one should be comfortable admitting to.
