I figured someone would over react to my statement. Personally, if need someone who has to constantly play hero ball, we're fuged. Even the best make mistakes when playing hero ball. Sam is.making strides, and he is certainly capable of.playing at a higher level, as he has the talent to do so. He just needs to be able to trust his oline, and his weapons. Every QB needs to be able to rely on his teammates. This is the ultimate team sport. I'm not saying Sam is a Franchise guy, but I know the book is not written on him yet.

The book of Wilks, the head coach, hasn't been written yet. Yet I see a lot of assumptions being made, based on the fact he is a defensive minded coach. Have any of yoy realized he prefers his team's to attack/dictate to the other teams? This isn't just on defense, but also on offense. So I don't get where this "he's just another conservative coach". Maybe you guys should open your eyes and stop being biased.

After the first 2 pages, this thread just becomes unbearable to read by anybody that is unbiased. Sam did play a good game today. Great? Why the fug what he need to with our oline playing the way they are? Is the running game helping? Well, no poo Sherlock. The run game makes every QB's job easier. So stop throwing that out there as a qualifier. Sam still stepped up and made big plays today when his number was called. Nobody is anointing him, so the anti Sam people can back off that poo too. Just acknowledge he is leading this team to victory. That's what the QB get paid to do. Obviously, the story of Sam, is not over yet, much to the dismay of his critics. While he hasn't been lighting up the league, he's winning, and not turning the ball over. damn, sounds like a QB to me. Next season is still next season. Is good to see Sam and the team doing well. I'd argue that our current OC, as likable as he is, doesn't know how to use the talent we have. I'm always for adding talent. Although having an OC that can better utilize all of the offenses talent is a much bigger need.

Not worried about.one of our best lineman. Our oline has stayed pretty injury free, which I don't know why ANY Panther fan would take that for granted. Am sure he's banged up.

So the Panthers got beat, by a team that played the same way the Panthers have been winning. Our team should have been better prepared to stop the run. Our defense didn't not play discipline football.

Somewhere, people have lost the reason to watch. I admit, the first quarter of the season wasn't worth watching. Yet here is the same group, minus cmc, Anderson, baker, rhule, and many other coaches. Now this group of mean that couldn't find a way to win, have bonded together, and are playing some dominating, smash mouth football. The joy is in the journey, and if have no desire to see them win they way they are, then I don't know how you can call yourself a fan. This is why we watch. Fighting for the division, and winning. Once they're in the playoffs, their formula is going to make it difficult for any team to just walk off with an easy win. Watch, don't want. Stop calling this group of men losers, because they aren't.

He's is a great guy to have on the team, and definitely helps us by the diversity of talent on the field at one time.
