  1. Chris Simms Breaks Down 2023 Draft QB Rankings The following are highlights from Simms’ QB draft rankings. For Simms’ in-depth analysis, No. 1: C.J. Stroud, Ohio State What Simms Said: “This is as close to Joe Burrow as I’ve seen coming out in the draft here. I mean, when you just talk about great decision-making, quickness…when you talk about hitting the bullseye on a consistent basis, C.J. Stroud’s ability to make high-level throws and just drop the ball in receiver’s pockets, hit them in the chest, wherever, it’s off the charts good…his arm is better than Burrow’s was coming out…his throwing, especially with the ability to power throw and put the ball into tight windows time after time after time, I’d actually give him the advantage over Joe Burrow in that department.”

  3. It is just me but i find it strange a player would want the O on their jersey.
  4. WalterFootball projects the Panthers to take Will McDonald DE, Iowa State. Carolina Panthers: Will McDonald, DE, Iowa State Carolina's pass rush wasn't the same after the team lost Haason Reddick to the Eagles. A replacement is needed. Will McDonald is a fast and athletic edge rusher.
  5. No doubting that Hubert's feet will be close to the fire and rightly so.
  6. Tick...Tick...Tick...Sadly, speaking from experience, time has a way of moving on all to quickly.
  7. Lamar, may wind up finding there is very few teams willing to pay anywhere close to what he thinks he deserves.
  8. With all those really good football minds combined, I feel sure they can and will reach a common conclusion on the QB that best fits the Panthers long term plan to succeed.
  9. Exactly!! When the vendors would take all these type hats back home and donate them to Good Will or Salvation Army. LOL
  10. For the life of me, I cannot stand a Flat Bill (Duck Bill) type ball cap.
  11. Panthers GM Scott Fitterer said that the team is "excited" about third-year receiver Terrace Marshall, who is "about ready to takeoff." His comments came during the NFL combine, roughly a week prior to the team's trade that sent D.J. Moore to the Bears WHAT IT MEANS: Marshall struggled to find the field in his first season and started his second season off slowly, but he did manage to finish the 2022 season with 28 catches for 490 yards (which ranked second on the team behind Moore) and his first career touchdown. He improved his yards per target from a concerning 4.6 rate as a rookie, all the way up to a strong 10.4 mark in his second year. Marshall's overall outlook should be improved with the departure of D.J. Moore.
  12. Who Will Be The First Pick In The 2023 NFL Draft? Curt Popejoy Draft Wire March 27, 2023 2:59 pm ET The 2023 NFL draft is just a month away and the Carolina Panthers are on the clock. At this point, it feels like a foregone conclusion the Panthers will draft one of the top quarterbacks but don’t think for one second if a good enough offer comes along, Carolina won’t take it. If the Panthers stay put, Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud makes the most sense. He’s the most NFL-ready of this group and his measurables are elite. But if the Panthers chose to trade down a spot or two, all bets are off for that top pick.

  15. I am rooting for the Panthers to draft C.J. Stroud. If this happens I will rush to purchase a Stroud Jersey. Here's hoping the Panthers select him and I don't get disappointed. However, I will still be happy if the Panthers draft Bryce Young, who could turn out great.
  16. Plus, one of the knocks on Bryce Young is that his arm strength is modest by NFL standards and that he would be in the bottom half of starters in that area. Youngs physical strength is questioned as well, making Pro Scouts say he would have to strain to make throws in tough conditions.
  17. It should be obvious that if Bryce Youngs height wasn't a concern and a real issue, we wouldn't be discussing it right now.
