  1. R.I.P. Jerry Richardson. Thanks for bringing the Panthers to the Carolinas. My deepest condolences to his wife and the entire Richardson family.
  2. Hopefully, the Panthers are not thinking of staking their future on a QB nearing 40 year old that seems to be slipping somewhat.
  3. You will get no disagreement about that fact from me.
  4. It is certainly not a good time to be a fan of this team but I will never cast then aside.
  5. The fact that he left the scene could really be a damaging factor in the courts as well as how certain NFL Team view him in the draft.
  6. You could be correct, just depends on how much more bad news comes out pertaining to the case..
  7. I suppose stranger things have happened. The Panthers whole QB situation is presently one big puzzle.
  8. Hmmm!!! I am just learning this because previously I thought he had asked to be traded to a team that had playoff potential.
  9. Yes, I think that Darnold is gone from the Carolinas, never to return. it was sort of sad because he was a good teammate and never complained, no matter what happened. Nice guy that just didn't quite have what it took to continue as the Panthers starting QB..
  10. Stroud/Young/Levis/AR are simply just more talented as QB's but they not be there if the Panthers hold pat with their # 9 first rd pick.
  11. Brissett would be a good option. I have been on his band waggon all off season.
  12. I would be willing to trade the 39th and 61st pick for QB Justin Fields but my bet is the Bears will wisely hold on to him.
  13. The money it would probably take to sign Jonathan Taylor could be used more wisely at other positions of need.
  14. The main improvement I like pertaining to Tepper was stated in this article as follows: ("At least for now though, Tepper seems to have found a much better balance between "hands-on" and "intrusive". He's actually letting the football people do their job.").
  15. That is true! I don't see any Andrew Luck or Trevor Lawrence type QB in the draft that I would be willing to give up that many # 1 draft picks to get.
  16. NFL SCOUTING REPORT: SUMMARY Hooker is a quality prospect who has faced adversity during his college career but now seems in an ideal place to take the next step and really get the attention of NFL scouts. He possesses excellent athletic talent, has a strong arm, huge hands, and has the power to make all the requisite throws at the next level, he also is a decent runner who is always a threat on the move. However, Hooker is still a little raw as a player and needs to demonstrate he can become a more consistently nuanced player. Hooker was putting up good numbers prior to his ACL injury and finished the season with an impressive 123.9 NFL QB rating. Was outstanding in a 5 TD performance against Alabama although ran into a brick wall a few weeks later against Georgia. We expect Hooker to be a very solid draft prospect assuming he recovers from his torn ACL and has all the skills to become an eventual starter in the pros so long as he isn't rushed into action too soon.
  17. Do you have any idea who we might be able to get that we like?
  18. I think we all can agree that 45 million a year would be an outlandish demand. My question is, how many teams would be willing to step up, show interest and try to obtain Daniel Jones even at a much reduced salary?
