  1. Rhule made clear after the game that Cam Newton remains Carolina's starting quarterback despite being pulled in the fourth quarter. He told reporters that he made the switch late because Newton's protection wasn't holding up and that he believed Walker stood a better chance in a hurry-up offense because he knows the 2-minute playbook.
  2. Bingo!!! You are 100% correct!! When the Dolphins were shown holding or blocking in the back and nothing called the cameras quickly turned the other way. The announcers commented on the bad calls but they are limited on the amount they can be critical toward officials.
  3. One of the main reasons New England stays on top regardless of who they have at QB is good coaches to develop the team each year and the ability to keep the players focused to play at a high level each week.
  4. I am not saying it cost us the game because there is lots of blame to go around but the whole game was called poorly and one sided. The bad calls were slanted toward the Panthers and hurt them when it mattered most. I would like to think NFL games are called fairly but games called like this make me have doubts.
  5. The officials seemed to be calling suspect possible game changing fouls on the Panthers all day, especially at the beginning of the game when the Panthers had drives going.
  6. I am wondering if the Panthers inability to stop the Washington running attack was due to poor gap control or the fact that the team is lacking in talent when they face teams that play a smash mouth running game? I hope the answer is the first, not the latter, or else we are in trouble..
  7. I am just thankful that the Panthers is the team in my region and not the Lions who are pitiful.
  8. I am thankful that we have an NFL team in our region we can support, enjoy and call our own.
  9. If Ron loses a couple more games this year he may be headed to the NFL Hall Of Fame but only as an observer.
  10. I am wondering if the Panthers will even sign Donte Jackson next year. They plenty of options next year at Corner Back. A.J. Bouye, Stephon Gilmore, Donte Jackson, and Rashaan Melvin all veteran guys and younger Jaycee Horn, C.J. Henderson, and Keith Taylor Jr. Gilmore. Donte Jackson, and Rashaan Melvin are in the final year of their current deals. Meanwhile, Bouye is under contract through the 2022 season.
  11. Everyone who matched up with McLaurin had a tough time outside of Gilmore. In Jackson’s case, this was his most disappointing performance of 2021 by a considerable margin.
  12. It is a given we now have a starting QB with Cam Newton at the helm and it could be just a short matter of time before Brady Christensen proves to be the long term LT we are in desperate need off.
  13. I am proud of Cam and thought he did a great job overall, considering he has only been here a matter of days, which meant there was no way he could know much of the play book in that short of a time period.

  15. Ric Flair is a phoney and fake that will support anyone that pays him. Remember when we played SF several years ago and he gave them a locker room speech telling they had always been his favorite team and hoped they beat the Carolina Panthers?
  16. Belichick is a master at taking away one thing an offense does well. And he did on Thursday night, making Pitts a non-factor. Pitts had three catches for 29 yards.
  17. I would not rate next Sundays game the second most anticipated home game in the teams history, but you can bet your bottom dollar Bank of America Stadium is going to be electric. Former head coach Ron Rivera returning with the Washington Football Team only heightens the level of intrigue. It’s going to be an occasion that nobody in attendance will forget. And the noise when Cam Newton is introduced will shake the stadium to its foundations.
  18. The Falcons showed last night they have obvious needs all over the roster, including at the position group the Falcons have invested a lot of draft capital in in recent years: the offensive line. After years of neglecting the o-line in the draft, the Falcons selected four blockers in the first three rounds over the last three years. Put another way, Atlanta has selected eight players on Days 1 and 2 since 2019. Half of them have been offensive linemen. Former general manager Thomas Dimitroff tried so hard to fix the offensive line quickly that in 2019, the Falcons took two offensive linemen in the first round. Dimitroff traded Atlanta's 2019 second and third-round picks to acquire another first-round selection to choose Kaleb McGary. Before him, the Falcons drafted Chris Lindstrom at No. 14. In 2020, Atlanta picked center Matt Hennessy in the third round. This past spring, new general manager Terry Fontenot added guard Jalen Mayfield to the mix in the third round. Lindstrom, McGary, Hennessy and Mayfield make up four of the five starters up front for the Falcons. The unit hasn't worked out as the Atlanta front office hoped. That came to a point Thursday night when the Patriots recorded four sacks, 12 quarterback hits and six tackles for loss. It seemed like the New England front-seven spent a majority of the game in the Atlanta backfield. Despite the draft capital spent on offensive linemen, the unit was a major question mark heading into the 2021 season. To see them struggle isn't surprising or new.
  19. Maybe they really like the idea of voting on who makes up the board. It makes one feel in power. Well, it sure as poo shouldn’t, because there are 501,000 shares currently owned, with another 300,000 being made in this offering. So, their$300 will give them the voting power of 0.000125 percent — and will can keep getting diluted forever, because the available float the Packers can change whenever they feel like it.
  20. There is probably some fans that would jump at the chance if it happened during a winning season, then turn around and threaten to sue after the Panthers had a down year or two, claiming they were somehow mislead. .
  21. Buying Packers ‘stock’ is the best scam in sports Become and ‘owner’ today, and waste your money! James Dator Nov 16, 2021, 12:57pm EST It’s a huge day if you like giving away money to a billion dollar organization and getting nothing in return. That’s right folks, your chance to become an “owner” of the Green Bay Packers is here! On Tuesday the Packers opened up shares of their “common stock” for the first time in 10 years. It gives anyone the chance to say they’re part owner of an NFL team for the low, low price of $300. Alternatively, you could just lie about it and tell people you part own an NFL team, because you’re pretty much getting the same thing out of it. So, what does that $300 get you? What can you expect as a part owner of one of the proudest teams in NFL history? Nothing at all! It doesn’t matter if NFL profits soar, or if the Packers become the most valuable sports franchise in the world — the team is very quick to tell you that you won’t make anything. Heck, it’s right there on the landing page. So, by the Packers own admission, the “stock” isn’t stock. The only way you can call it stock is if you ignore the common sense meaning of the term stock. Get it? Dig a little further in and they make it clear that you can’t sell, trade, or transfer your stock to anyone — except an immediate family member in the event of a death. So, once again, not a stock. Surely you must get some really sweet deals for being a shareholder, right? Hell no you don’t! Do you think this is some sort of utopian co-op? That’s commie trash. You don’t get tickets, don’t get the rights to any preferential seating, you don’t get a say on any hirings or the football direction of the team. You DO however get the right to vote on who makes up the board, from a pre-approved list of people sent to shareholders. Also a certificate, because who doesn’t like a good certificate? Also, there’s a $35 additional handling fee for the certificate. You didn’t think your $300 investment would actually get you the certificate, right? Maybe you really like the idea of voting on who makes up the board. It makes you feel in power. Well, it sure as poo shouldn’t, because there are 501,000 shares currently owned, with another 300,000 being made in this offering. So, your $300 will give you the voting power of 0.000125 percent — and you can keep getting diluted forever, because the available float the Packers can change whenever they feel like it, wee! Don’t get too discouraged though. If you decide voting and keeping up with the Packers is just too much, you can always just ignore their messages and not vote. Then after five years the team can revoke your share and pay you the handsome sum of $0.025. Who knows what two cents will look like in the future? That’s fun to imagine, right?! The new float will raise $90 million for the Packers, with plans to make further renovations to the stadium. In the 2011 float the funds were used to make improvements to Lambeau Field as well, presumably without raising ticket prices. Joke’s on you for believing that, because despite getting fans to pay for stadium improvements by calling them “owners” the team still took taxpayer money, and will keep taking it until 2031! As for ticket prices, surely raising all this money multiple times in team history was a brilliant way to pay it forward. A wonderful world where those who could afford shares offset the cost of rising ticket prices for families. That had to have happened, right? Hell no! Ticket prices have soared over the last decade, and now the Packers have the fourth most expensive tickets in the entire NFL! So don’t miss your opportunity today to become an owner of the Green Bay Packers. The only investment I can think of worse than spending $300 on a share of the Packers, is spending $250 on this vintage 1992 Flowbee, which was a vacuum that cuts your hair. Actually, scratch that, the Flowbee will save you money on haircuts with every single use. A couple of years and it pays for itself. The Packers stock will never pay for itself, you just get to brag about being one of 800,000 other rubes. But at least you get a cool certificate.
