I'm also wishing Wilks, who I liked, success wherever this takes him next!
-
I believe that Reich will be able to get a lot of top notch, asst. coaches and that is one reason I was on board for the Panthers to select him.
-
I feel bad for Wilks, who I liked and hope he gets a well deserved HC job in the near future with a defense needy team . The fact Tepper's wanted to change the Panthers direction and hire an offensive minded HC, pretty much left Wilks out of the running to be the Panthers next HC.

Now, the Panthers are charting a new course, and Reich gives them an opportunity to change their style while sliding comfortably into a city that's changed considerably since the last time he was here. He's been there. He's done that. His experience set him apart from all the other offensive coaches they interviewed. And while his background is different than the guys who held the job before him, his personality makes him a fit here. Reich is understated, he's calm, but he exudes the gravity and leadership the job demands.

Now if that don't beat all. Ha! Ha!

That was one I missed....

Pizza Hut is bringing back a fan favorite from the ’90s

Thanks for the heads up! I will have to try the “Big New Yorker". -
True! I will not argue that point!

Older coaches bring something younger ones cannot and that is a vast amount of experience.

Yes it does!!!

Aaron Rodgers is back where he wants to be: In the middle of the drama
KatsAzz replied to ladypanther's topic in NFL
Even with at least half the league either in dire need of a quarterback or with at least one eye on a potential upgrade, it will be difficult for the Packers to force much compensation in return if Rodgers is dealt. -
After reading all these posts, I have a question. Question: Is there any head coach on this planet that would satisfy all Panthers fans? Answer: No, there is not.
-
If he hates Bojangles, I don't want him. Nuff said.
-
In that case, Florida's Richardson should be available and he would not be a bad selection if the Panthers go QB in the draft.
-
That sceniro would be ideal but with the amount of teams needing QB's, I doubt he will last until the 16-19 pick.
-
I am all in for hiring Steichen as the Panthers new head coach. The playoffs cannot end soon enough to see what happens.
-
I agree. It is very obvious we need a 2nd line center, and have too many wingmen,
-
The is a great question and I am anxious to see how it will play out! ("This is where the Brady conundrum comes into play. If the GOAT decides he’s done with football, he has a $375 million contract with Fox that calls for him to become its No. 1 analyst.") (" Will Olsen’s emergence force Fox to go with a three-person booth? Could Fox put Brady in studio and make him part of Fox NFL Sunday? ")

I like the following six QB's in the 2023 NFL Draft : 1 Bryce Young 2 C.J. Stroud 3 Will Levis 4 Anthony Richardson 5 Tanner McKee 6 Hendon Hooker. They all have a chance to succeed at the NFL level if they have coaches that will teach them to be better leaders and communicators on and off the field and assist them in unleashing their full talent with the proper drills and techniques.
-
The Canadians Joel Edmunson would certainly be a great pick up.
-
Congratulations are extended to Greg Olsen. Considering it's only his second season in the booth, he has quickly made a name for himself in broadcasting.
-
Yes! Lock it!

It certainly wouldn't break my heart if Payton stays with Fox and saves the Panthers the draft choices required to get him. After everything is considered, I personally feel Steichen would actually be the best choice as the Panthers next HC.
-
I feel sure Payton is smart enough to use all the leverage at his disposable with these visits to try obtaining the best deal possible, even if he already knows the team he wants to go to.
-
Even if the Panthers are not lucky enough to get a young QB, I believe Steichen would help elevate the ones they wind up with.
