It's been a while since I lived (or even visited) Brunswick County but from all that I gathered from my friends from high school and family that lives down there is that it is booming. I could totally see Colbert buying a beach house on Holden Beach or Ocean Isle Beach

Why do I have the gut feeling that Ben MacAdoo and/or Steve Wilks weren't just brought in to be oc/secondary coach but possibly to be Rhule's successor?

If I am not mistaken (and someone can clarify this) but I am pretty certain Nick Foles worked with Ben Macadoo in Jacksonville so there is some level of familiarity there.

I am just asking, for God's sake, give the man an opportunity and don't piss on him if he isn't successful right away. Too many of you give up on a player in their rookie year.

Cole Kelley could be an option in the 4th and I feel is vastly underrated. He's got a small sample of work due to playing for a small school but he is 6'7 and 230 lbs and is athletic and has the arm. To me, listening to some of his interviews, he's a cross between Big Ben and Jake Delhomme.

I am actually fine with staying put and waiting till the 4th because I truly do not see any QBs (except maybe Willis) getting drafted in the next two rounds. I think most teams will have a similar mindset that, given how weak this QB class is, that they could actually get better value out of the QBs later in the draft or next year. Spending a 4th on QB is a lot less Riskier than moving up in into the 2nd and losing more draft capital. We'll see what happens but I fully expect one of those QBs to be there by the time we pick in the 4th.

Agreed. I remember a couple of years ago when Herbert came out and we were in the mix to draft him that many on here didn't want to draft him because many thought he would be a bust but look at him now... Actually doing a great job with the Chargers. I am, in no way, comparing Pickett to Herbert but can we hold off on the bust talk until he actually plays meaningful games in the NFL? I do think that we should trade back and gain some more draft capital but with our recent free agent signings, to me it is hinting they are going to stay at 6 and weigh their options.

I didn't say it would happen, I was saying I am hoping it will happen.... There is a difference. In all seriousness, the roster isn't all terrible.... I just think they need proper coaching.

Honestly, we don't need a superstar at the QB position, we just need a QB who can manage the game and be a smart decision maker. Minshew would be ideal in that role.

Honestly, I don't think he got a fair shake as a head coach. He came into a pretty bad situation. I'd prefer him over Rhule.

Maybe because we didn't know what the outcome of the legal proceedings would be so it was too late to fire Rhule this late in the season.

So I am thinking outside the box a little on this theory but What if Watson wants to come here knowing very well Rhule could be on his way out next year??? Hear me out on this: Watson comes here, team continues to build, Rhule gets fired, and Watson has a say on who becomes head coach... Which could lead to his preferred choice.... Brian Flores.
