    Every now and then there are turning point games in a coaching staff's tenure. Back in 2022 it was SF beating us in a humiliating blowout that got Matt Rhule fired. Next Sunday is another one of those scenarios.

    Always an acceptable choice. Glad I hung on to my OG Peppers and Steve Smith stitched Reebok jerseys to wear to the games. I can't think of a current Panthers player whose jersey I'd spend money on, other than maybe Brian Burns but he might be gone.

    I was gonna say, I've seen some of your opinions on a particular subforum on this here site. You are no Bible thumper. There's a reason why there are gambling addiction help lines at the bottom of commercials for the lottery, etc. It can and does ruin peoples' lives. I play daily fantasy every now and then but a big weekend for me is putting up like $25 on entries.

    We just sat around and watched Brandon Beane go to Buffalo and turn a punchline of a franchise into a heavyweight in the AFC. Sometimes you just have to laugh at how this franchise has always done the most perfectly wrong thing at every opportunity.

    I never bought the "soft benching" theory after he hurt his ankle because of that. There wasn't even a whisper of a knock on him mentally during the scouting process. It's played out here as he gotten turned into a meat crayon in the pocket over and over. He just jumps back up and gets back to the line.

    It's just a slow bleed until something finally breaks. We cede a little bit more field position on every drive, and then next thing you know it's the 4th quarter and the Bears are up 3 possessions.
