What ELITE level coaching looks like and can do for your Franchise
Shocker replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Guess “they suck” is acceptable analysis these days…we really should have listened -
do we think the watson trade is announced today (10/26)
Shocker replied to DJ feed me moore's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably and he will be a Panther As Verge mentioned on the other thread the price will be staggering -
My “good trade” for Watson… 2022 first, 2023 first, 2024 2nd Donte Jackson (he is playing well but contract year and we have other options) Yetur Gross Matos Is that enough…probably not Really don’t want Burns, Horn or Chinn included if at all possible

Looking at our Free Agent signings last offseason it appears the coaches and GM know defensive talent. The offensive signings were extremely suspect if not terrible. Gotta get that worked out
-
Yeah, this offensive line is the worst in football IMO. Drafting and/or adding FAs doesn’t ensure they will be any good either.
-
Absolutely provided he plays and doesn’t get injured or suspended for any length of time. He is a top QB on the field so agree there completely
-
Right…but we would have no picks in the first 3 rounds. It is going to be hard to fix WITH our first rounder.
-
If the Panthers make this trade it is going to be super hard to get this OL filled out. No way around it. I mean maybe we can spend big bucks on a LT and C but things would have to fall well for us. The draft this year would be pretty barren
-
Hellva showing against a good Boston team. I think we are a playoff squad this season. Future is bright
-
True…its not like 32 mill next year or 35 the next isn’t a big deal. If he doesn’t play for whatever reason it really kills this franchise in a lot of ways. There is more risk than just losing draft picks here
-
You are so smart…I will let you have your moment. Enjoy it
-
I said his contract is huge as it stands right now. It is a huge risk. I can’t type English any better for you.
-
I said “as it currently stands” but I guess you cant read too well
-
His cap hit is 40 mill dumbass

Read em and weep studbolt https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/houston-texans/deshaun-watson-21753/

One really important point here…Watsons cap figure is set to be 40 mil next season as it stands now. He has the third highest contract in the NFL. Risky move doesn’t quite say it
-
Without the legal difficulties Watson would absolutely be worth 3 first rounders. He is a known commodity that those picks aren’t. It would be any additional assets that would make it dicey but again thats before these allegations

Rhule said he wanted to focus on the run game and Brady ran it 17 times. This meeting was bound to happen
