Rhule was asked today if there was anything from a playcalling perspective that might help with that specific issue. Rhule: Blah blah blah I didn’t see anything with that a man once said most teams lose because they don’t know why they lose….. Baker didn’t shrink. It’s a an issue with your playcalling and offense. Defenders are simply mirroring for the predictable short routes they know are coming. ESPN literally ran a special on it. And It’s been talked about for years in regards to McAdoo.

Pete Carroll is a good HC and they don’t have a OC the league essentially banished Baker is a problem. Not the primary problem.

Sam probably being smart. I mean whatever stock he has left if any….doesn’t get better by playing again with Rhule. He can just not play and at least blame Rhule for sucking so bad now that Baker is mirroring the experience. The worst comes out under Rhule. Really bad QBs can get backup gigs for years and years.

Ron was developing a QB and Carolina was bringing new stuff to the league. Even if the records were close it was totally different planet.

I still think Tabor should be the dude. Fire Rhule and let Snow follow. Wilks takes over the D. Bears last year probably had their best managed and called game when Tabor was the interim HC and it’s the easiest job to pull double duty.

Let’s be serious. we would all like a nice draft pick to draft a QB next year. We can’t fug around with PJ because everyone knows the final destination would be 14-3. The man don’t lose.

This. defense is overrated because we played Winston with a broken back (and he still put up 400+) yards on them and then playing a horrific coached Cardinal team. Now people are acting like we have a great D. after the 49ers, Rams and Bucs this D will look average. They have good coaches and teams. 49ers are a tougher opponent than people think. Strong D and that O will get rolling once Jimmy G is back up to speed. He isn’t good but the O will do what it does once he is. He didn’t even have a playbook week 1.

there are now 5 openings at power 5 schools. Hopefully he takes one in the next month or so. He is a bad NFL coach. And that’s a okay. That can be said about a lot of college coaches. 2 different games. He knows that now I think. He isn’t going to come out of this. He doesn’t belong here. Better college coaches have realized this too.

Joe Brady went to go work for the #3 offense and #2 pass offense in the NFL. Our O got worse last year when we fired him and even worse this year. He got screwed by being given Sam Darnold. He was promising year 1. A newb yeah, but he was suppose to have flaws early in his career. Who knows if he will be good but he clearly was never the main reason our O sucked. That’s Rhule. The architect and guy running the mess.

I think that is a prerequisite for the gig. I mean Rhule cooked up bringing in Sam Darnold and picking up his 5th year option. You think a sober man does that?

I still feel confident that they plus Carl can be more creative than Ben McAdoo.

I got a plan I mean the guy is 7-0 as a pro. Obviously, there is still massive OC problem. I got that covered too. Meet our new OC. I’m going to call him Carl. This guy no doubt has more creativity than Ben McAdoo. I feel confident by beer 17 he can come up with something better than CMC up the gut. Let’s see. What else. The guys seem a little flat. No pep to them. There is no fun. Motivation? Someone go find this former topcat. Let’s bring these gals back too. They must of been fun. Is fun so wrong? They will not be topcats. They will just be Carl’s assistants. Make sure Carl doesn’t go past a full case. I got the offense figured out guys. It will be more entertaining I 100% promise. Triple stamp it, no erasies, touch blue make it true. and best of all Mr Tepper, I’ll do the job….

I don’t see 5 wins on the year. split with Atl. Maybe the Steelers. That’s 2 more wins. Everyone else has too much offense. Saints won’t have a QB with a broken back next time. Lions and Seattle were game people had as likely wins but they have too much offense. only way to get to 5 is for some teams to suffer injuries IMO

What do Sam’s 4 last starts in the NFL look like stacked up to Baker’s last 4? That would be a good comparison. Is Baker at 2021 dumpster fire level yet

It’s apples and oranges. Baker has to date consistently been a better QB than Sam Darnold. Sam isn’t the answer. Joe Brady just had a better base offense than Ben McAdoo. And you cherry picked the opening of Sam when they were running him on key downs because he sucks and they did y trust him and scheming around the fact he sucked and couldn’t make throws. But the NFL figures that stuff out. So it was short lived. Sam will suck with McAdoo. He will hand off to CMC up the gut. And throw horrific picks and fumble. Sam probably would be more accurate on quick one reads though if they were open.

Not if Rhule and McAdoo are the coaches. if you invented some magic world where Cam was here and we had the same roster and a different staff? We probably have a better record. A good staff would basically have run Cam and CMC 40 times a game. And that wins more than 1 game.

When I say a rebuild that doesn’t mean 100% of the roster gone. Icky fits a rebuild. Burns is a solid DE but I don’t think every DC in the NFL would want him. Not at his cap space. Depends what you want to be on D.

Sam Darnold is the answer. I mean, bringing Cam back is. Uh, firing Joe Brady is. Wait, Baker is the answer. Oh, snap firing McAdoo might be the answer?……and now back to Sam lol.
