They improved because talent followed him. Not arguing talent did flock to him and therefore he had more than the coach prior. They have more talent now than prior. That doesn't contradict the points I have made though. You just keep bringing up my expectations. I can pull for a coach that doesn't win. That's got nothing to do with anything. The entire purpose of Sanders being in Colorado and coaching is to promote and build his son. It's why the team is in part so poorly coached. Because it's about his son having success more so than a football team......and it's painfully obvious. Again, see last week. That trainwreck coaching job at the end to make it about his son vs winning a football game.

I root against all sorts of people in sports. The hurt you thing is a lame escape from the claim against Sanders. Did he hurt Greg Jenning and the billion other people that have the exact same take? Obviously not. They are indeed poorly coached. It shows up all the time. But that's like I said by design. See the end of the game last weekend. Comically bad coaching in the name of promoting his son. Everything I have said about him going into the season was right there on display and only took a week to show. I'm not talking expectations or anything like that. He dominates air because of his name and bologna. And if he is going to dominate the air.....we might as well tell the truth about what he is and is doing IMO.

I guess my real point is, it's not so much Worthy.....it's a staff that wants to ensure he is involved. Which you saw in the preseason. His first touch of the game is the best example. Think that will be a big part of why XL gets criticism. Saw it the preseason. Reid would have got the ball XLs hands. 100%.

that Xavier Worthy had a real nice debut game. Much like preseason, Andy Reid's gameplan is to design touches for the young player to get him involved in his O early.

Panthers were just trying to do something flashy after trading away CMC for peanuts. So they overpaid a commitee RB...despite Philly telling us he had bad hands, ran bad routes, and had horrible vision.

I think that LSU team could of hung with NFL team that featured a really bad defensive front and had horrible QB play. Not saying they would have won. But Burrow, Chase, and JJ showed as rookies they were already top tier NFL ready essentially as college players.

Tough argument to make that we have the best offense. Saints were 9th in points per game last year. Panthers dead last. That's a pretty big leapfrog.

they are an ACC school, they play an ACC schedule. Which is really what people cry about. Because outside of conference they slotted two SEC opponents including the #1 team in the nation and one of their cupcakes is App St. so in reality, Clemson, unlike most schools with what they can control….try to make their schedule harder. Dabo’s biggest issue is 2 flop 5 star recruits he has been over loyal to at QB.. That has kept him from the playoffs. Not so much the portal. Clemson has always had a depth issue vs the Bamas even during their historic run.

Yeah, it’s lost in the Dabo must adapt talk….is that if he even got top 5ish ACC caliber QB play…..he likely would have been in the college playoffs the last 3 seasons. Dabo’s roster is so good he still gets to about 10 wins with bottom of the barrel ACC QB play. And he is still recruiting the studs. Sometimes they are duds. Biggest issue is Dabo is too loyal and too much rope. Cade era should have started at the start of DJ’s year 2. His new kid should have replaced Cade this year. Loyal to a fault. But it’s part of the reason why everyone stays at Clemson and doesn’t really transfer that much or go to the pros just because they can. Overlooked how many first round picks returns to Clemson. It’s the culture.
