    I believe Canales wants to move on from Bryce to get his own guy but he’s also trying to walk a fine line of trying to maximise Bryce’s offseason trade value. Saying that I want him to look his best for the teams best interest

    Mate I’m all for going the veteran QB route that’s the model that has worked where Canales has been. Plus we need way to many pieces on Defense

    Well it looks like we’re trying to build our team like the lions did after the Chuba deal. The next step is to trade for an out of favour high draft pick QB that has had a good season but their team wants to get out of their bloated contract. Jones fits the bill and maybe Lawrence

    This next offseason will be big for him. I want to see him make his mark by letting Evero go and choosing his own DC. Make his own decision on QB and fingers crossed we can add some talent to become a middle of the pack side

    That whole argument hurt my brain. QBs bust all the time and WRs aren’t a sure thing either. And if teams have a close enough draft grade and they need a QB even if the grade is lower they will take the QB

    You’d want to get the most out of him and that would be playing him both ways. And the best way to do that is mainly CB and rotate him in at WR but I’d much rather trade down
