Lol trade what makes the offense functional? Keep both and be thankful because without them there isn't much more than Tet

Join me in betting against the Panthers this season

Still an easy bet after this week when the weak part of the schedule is finished -
XL isn't smart enough to just stop talking to Newton
-
He was saying Roger Goodhell wasn't one of them. Nore were a bunch of other owners is my guess. It's what made winning that much sweeter. The haters had to choke on it.

2 podcasts questioning Young. Cant keep winning in spite of him
Waldo replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Being forced into a shootout? Yep. The D stopping a top performing O? Yep too. Set up to be a stat adjusting game IMO. I just don't know how the Panthers can play from behind if the other team keeps going. -

Dallas will be a test for both sides -
I would rather just play the rookies on the outside and see what happens personally. The free agents are what Im not high on. For example I would have rather them pick up a MLB vs rolling with Wallace and Jewell and brining in Moehrig. Just makes them lean more on Scott and that's an easy pass for me.

Rhule didn't develop much if anything and he used QBs to blame his lack of NFL skills and knowledge. Without a different staff he probably would have been replaced the next year when Fritterer came in and started making everything worse.

Nic Scourton- PFF Highest Rated Rookie (Week 5)
Waldo replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
No they just are fantasies pooped out by PFF Solid play and lots of upside doesn't justify that grade. -
Nic Scourton- PFF Highest Rated Rookie (Week 5)
Waldo replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
So 4 tackles and 1 for a loss makes him the highest rated rookie defender for the week? Is that because PFF drafted him or did someone miss a key stroke while giving autofilatio? -
Well having a healthy Brown is the biggest difference IMO. Best player on the D. last years average was 5.2 yards a run and it's 4.5 this year so far. And that's with Brown back.
-
I thought they were already were. They literally drafted for Dan when he was doing his usual meh free agents
-
Im seeing just under 180 a game on average last year. We opened at 200 and Miami could only pass, not sure that was an achievement by the Panthers or Miami falling apart. It's week 6 so the opening year stuff should fall away and the averages should emerge for thr year. The schedule this year is also ridiculously easy up front vs the back side. We will see how much they have improved at the end.
-
Fair. But by how much? Not sure we will really know until after the Jets.
-
Brown is a beast but calling the D improved given the schedule to date is a stretch. Plenty of reality checks after the Jets

How the fug can a fan watch their team get stramrolled by good teams for years while beating up on bad teams, their D fall apart because of offensive contracts, their QB get paid while proving he can't elevate the team when it matters, lose their best weapn for the year the week before, their coach fall into a funk after earlier successes and then think they are a good team at 1-3 that couldn't lose to another bad team who was also 1-3? At the height of that build they lost back to back wild card appearances. That's as dumb as bearly beating that team and patting yourself on the back.
-
I wish we had a QB that had the ability to make others look better vs a QB thst needs others to be the best to make him look serviceable. And they still haven't played a good team. Jags looking like they have improved more in 5 games than 1 season and 5 games under DC with Young at QB. Thanks for the laughs tho

cam Newton makes his return to Madden football
Waldo replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm the same and I just gave up on it years ago. I expect the new sale to make it a worse fall into making bigger revenue streams and that's not going to be offline franchise. -

EA is being sold so if you think it can't get worse then you had better buckle up. I gave up on them long ago when Madden became more for children buying cards vs the great days of franchise mode. -
Bakers are hard to come by. Darnolds should still come with a rookie in that big picture. We got a Baker when we had a Darnold but it was year 3 of Rhule that should never have happened given the first 2 years. Sam has played 2 good teams and is 0-2 and his numbers continue to drop...Just like his year before Baker with us. That's not the answer but part of an answer.
-
But the players are happy...
-
Neither one will win a SB. Better to watch football 100% but Sam folds under pressure and Baker should at least make a secent playoff run. Do both IMO. Most of the guys coming out need a year anyways. Go do that and have somecompletion along the way. Best case, you can trade one for more than you drafted one of them for. Win-win.
-
Listen to player input? Obviously yes. Being a player led team? No thanks. It needs to be ours not your's. That's the difference between player led and player involved.
-
Just bad coaching. Go do your job and your players wouldn't look so bad at the begining of the season and most games. That includes the high priced free agents too. I hate everything about this build.
