  1. He didn't run that offense and he didn't call the plays. Pederson did.
  2. I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but I feel like every single HC (except maybe Wilks) was given more than enough patience and each one deserved to be let go for various reasons. I would rather we get rid of a guy we know isn't working than hold onto him waiting for him to get his poo together. But before all that, I just wish we'd hire the right guy to begin with.
  3. To further expand, CJ Stroud is 18th and 12th in RPO and PA respectively for 22% of all his throws... This is not me saying Reich wanted Stroud over Young. The fact of the matter is we took Young. At that point, you put the guy you took in the best position possible to succeed, you don't force him and the rest of the offense into a scheme that no one fits.
  4. Just looked it up, We have run 21 RPO Plays with Bryce this season, 20th in the NFL. We have run 51 PA passes this season, 21st in the NFL. 72 of 350 attempts have been either RPO or PA Passes. (21%) Contrast that with Tua - 72 RPO attempts (#1 in the league), 97 PA Attempts (#1 in the league). 169 of 377 of Tua's Pass attempts have been either RPO or PA (45%) Reich was an idiot.
  5. ? Tua is in the MVP conversation this year and playing really really well? 4th in yards, 3rd in TDs, 4th in TD%, 1st in 1st down conversions, 2nd in Y/A... Why don't you want that? He was great (When healthy) last season as well. Why do you think he sucks?
  6. That quote just says people in the FO, that doesn't necessarily mean Scott or Tepper, that could be someone like a scout who knows the X's and O's of football calling attention to the lack of RPOs and bringing it to Fitt or a Coach's attention. Like, we're idiot fans and even we know the play design has sucked and looks like it belongs in the early 2000's with the lack of pre-snap motion and RPO's that are used leaguewide these days to spread out a defense and help the QB.
  7. Flores' players absolutely hated him, and he actively surpressed Tua's development. We don't need him anywhere near Bryce considering they are very similar QBs in terms of play style.
  8. So like, yeah I get it Tepper bad, meddling, eww, blah blah blah. But, at the same time, if those types of plays were Young's bread and butter in college and Reich just kind of ignored it, Reich absolutely needed to be fired. We as fans have noticed these players not being put in the best position based on play calling alone, I'm sure our scouts and FO people have too, and Reich's reaction was "Nah, my scheme can't do that"? Yeah, fire him, move on from this dinosaur and his archaic offensive scheme.
  9. Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Overall scheme won't change, but we may add more wrinkles here and there.
  10. Chris Tabor is a real one. Probably the best ST Coordinator we've had in I don't know how long. Hope he manages to stick around for a 3rd HC regime.
  11. I'm not either. Too early to call it on him and anyone saying he definitively sucks is jumping the gun and seem to want him to suck. I was willing to give Rhule (not quite) two years and he was a dickhead. I can give Bryce a shot next year to look better.
  12. Staley is going to get fired more because his defense is ass and he's the one calling plays than anything.
  13. I'm betting Kellen Moore, former OC for the Cowboys, current OC of the Chargers, and finalist for the job this past offseason. If Staley is retained in LA, I think we scoop him up. If not, I think they promote him to HC. He has extensive experience working under a meddling owner (Jerry Jones) so he probably won't blink, especially if we back the brinks truck up for him. Whose your pick of who you think it will be (not necessarily who you want it to be)?
  14. It absolutely needed to happen. STs is doing well. Defense is down over half their starters and playing decently all things considered. The HC with an offensive background and the #1 QB picked is producing an absolute dogcrap of an offense. I don't necessarily have faith we'll fix anything, but moving on from Reich was not the wrong move.
  15. Bruh, you could pay me a fraction of what he's payed both Reich and Rhule to be the coach. $$$$ There are only 32 of these positions available in the world and you make a ton of money doing it. That's why someone will take.
  16. This isn't me targeting you specifically, but I do want to know the reasoning that many people share - Why does anyone want Morgan to take over? He has been a part of the brain trust that put together this god awful team. If he weren't previously a player for us would you still have the same feelings toward him? No one in that FO should be safe based on the product they have produced this season.
  17. The problem with that logic is that Frank isn't a first year Head Coach. This is his 6th year as a HC, first with us. His track record shows exactly what he is, a guy the game has passed by. If you're going to fire him next year, just fire him this year. Seriously though, it's not like his replacement will do any worse.
  18. A first time HC coming in trying to rebuild everything that was torn down by the previous regimes would get a lot more slack than Frank Reich and his all star staff who were brought in expecting immediate results.
  19. On the flip side, what have frank and scott done that warrants they actually keep their jobs? Scott's drafts have been atrocious, he's traded away our best players and done absolutely nothing to replace them, and the FA's he's signed have all sucked. Reich came in and tried to force his square peg offense into our round hole personnel and now we are the worst team in the league because Fitt, Reich, and Tepper are all incompetent.
