Wins absolutely do matter. I’m not expecting playoffs, but he needs to win more than he did last year. A franchise QB should be able to take over, and win some games. He wants the job, he needs to keep us out of the pick 1-4 range. Someone said, this offense should be able to give 17-21 points on any given night, and give that pretty easily. I agree. If it’s a struggle like last year, then he’s not that guy.

Way too soon for these comparisons, and Bryce is going to have to have more than a good drive before I’m willing to change my overall thoughts.

Did Jamie just punch Byrd?

Welp, I’ve seen all I needed to see. This Plummer kid is terrible. I was through after he missed Mingo. Off to take my daughter to the bounce house and for some ice cream. Too nice of a day to watch this

Good drive, Bryce. Looked good. I’ll take some crow for today. Said the drive would be a dud, and I was wrong. Good sh*t!

Jaycee Horn’s future with the Panthers
AggieLean replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’d be hesitant to trade him. Really don’t want to trade him. Let him play out these two years, and if he balls out and stays healthy, pay him top money. We’re likely about to reset the QB clock here soon, so the team will be able to maneuver around his contract, if it comes to that. -
How long will the Carolina Panthers rebuild take?
AggieLean replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
When we get a QB, we can get this thing rolling in about 2/3 years. -
Deepest apologies.

There’s a loud 1% on both sides that want to run on here on some “I told you so, I was right you were wrong” stuff. If they’re wrong, both sides have tactics stored in the chamber to deflect from them being wrong. Like ole boy I quoted said, the ones who “want” Bryce to fail, will just say they always wanted him to succeed. The ones on the other side will just flip to saying, “I’m sorry I wanted my team to succeed” etc. But yea, I and most on the huddle want him to succeed. We’re tired of losing. Tired of being irrelevant. Bryce turning it around helps fix that. I just don’t see it with Bryce. Last year was bad
-
I don’t even believe those that are loud want him to fail, but let’s flip it. If Bryce has another season like last, and we move on, what are you going to post?
-
I believe 99% of the huddle, aka the overwhelming majority, wants Bryce to succeed.

90 rec 915 yards

It’s been 6 years, going on 7, since we’ve been able to brag about anything lol. At this point, I’d just take sweeping one of the nfc south teams. I still remember posting after 2015 how we were going to finally be able to claim ourselves as a winning franchise, as our overall record was around 500. After these years, that dream is dead.

REPORT: Panthers changed the offense 3 times last season
AggieLean replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
3x in the offseason? Not good. -
It will more than likely be brought up if they come out against the saints flat, which we all know is likely the outcome.

I watched a little bit of the first preseason game, but didn’t watch any of the 2nd. This is the most apathetic I’ve been about panther football. I mean, we all know how this season is about to go. We all know they are going to struggle game 1. They are going to be out of sync, and someone within the organization is going to mention how it takes time to gel and get things going. Probably should play your starters some.

What is the benefit to benching starters for the preseason?
AggieLean replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Same dumb decisions after same dumb decisions. A huddler would have this team in much better position, and that’s sad. -
Inactives: Starters get the night off against Jets
AggieLean replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
We all pretty much know this team is going to start off slow week 1 against the saints. Nothing this team does makes sense. Been like that for the past 7/8 years now. It’s like nobody in that damn building has learned a thing. -
Would the Carolina Panthers move on from QB Bryce Young?
AggieLean replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Simple for me. You want to continue to be the starting QB for the panthers; will this team to a draft pick outside of the top 3. If he can’t do that, then I’m fine trying someone else. I don’t think Bryce is a guy you can compete with, and I fully expect this team to be picking top 2. -
Good Lord He was one of the worst QBs, statistically, last year, and he hasn’t exactly looked great in the preseason. He’s going to get bashed. He’ll have plenty opportunity to shut folks up this season. If he continues to stink, he’ll continue to get bashed.
-
I’m predicting this team will win 1-3 games, and we will get the #1 overall pick. Bryce is going to look just as bad as last year. This should be his last year as our starter, and he’ll probably force his way out privately.

This team is bad

We’ll be picking 1st overall this upcoming draft, and Canales will be gone in 2 years
