Well, if you got the proof I won’t question it. I’ll admit being wrong. I just don’t think DJ nor Robby is as bad as what we’re seeing this year. I also would lock DJ up with no concerns, providing we provide him a different QB. It’s about time we get him a reliable, accurate, good QB. He hasn’t had that since he’s been here, and I’m including that last year of Cam
-
Sam showed some heart this past game, so I’ll never take that away from him. It reminded me of when Cam was against Atlanta and dragged that defense for the first down. He was dead to rights 4 or 5 yards before the 1st down marker. Also, reminded me of the head shots; in particular, when that safety got him dead in the head but he came right back.
-
DJ is going to drop the ball at times. That’s just who he is, and the numbers show that. It’s never been this bad, though. The effort is also a concern, because again, that’s just not who he is or what he’s shown. He’s always been a guy that will wiggle out of tight situations, and try to fight for extra yards. Now, I understand this a contract year, so he’s trying not to get hurt, but I believe there’s something else there. I truly believe if PJ was the starter, you wouldn’t see these issues, or atleast not so much. I also admit, PJ isn’t that good

I can respect the bold. I’ll eventually ease off him.
-
Yep. I also don’t believe Robby is this bad; same goes for DJ. There’s something there that’s messing them up. Now, I don’t think we should have extended Robby, but I felt that because I’ve always felt that while Robby was a good receiver, he was a luxury for us. It’s also why I’m not going to be harsh on Terrace Marshall this year. He’s better than what we are seeing. I think he’ll be better with PJ.
-
Tepper is going to get involved here soon, and that’s for better or worse. I don’t think he likes what he’s seeing. Sam is not where he should be at year 4 and PJ isn’t it at all. Sam is a borderline backup, and PJ should be a 3rd string guy or not in the league. Sam’s numbers with a clean pocket were the biggest red flag that we ignored, and I think you’ll see after this years those numbers show the same
-
Nagy will be gone in a year or 2. Fields will be going into year 3 or 4, and will thrive.
-
Man, I don’t think PJ is the answer. In fact, I don’t think he’s very good at all. He’s not it at all. I want both him and Sam gone after this year.

Slater would have been a good pick as well. You take the QB or LT in that position. Darnold is still having the same issues he had 3 years as a Jet. Again, the funny thing is Sam is everything that Cam was said to be, and at 4 years in the league. The other funny thing is the ones who would bring up Cams faults as a rookie and 1st year player, are the ones staunchly defending Darnold. I just think they didn’t like that man’s “personality” (or other things) and just won’t admit that. I saw a poster tried to compare Sam to Cam, and that was laughable. I would call him out but I’m going to be on my best behavior. Cam was a MVP, and Cams passing numbers dwarf what Sam does and has done in his 4 years. Cam was a QB that could actually process the field, and be a QB
-
And I say all that, wanting it to be known that I think Horn is going to be a dawg. He has potential to be shut down. I just think you go QB at that spot; especially if he has potential in being a franchise guy.
-
Fields hasn’t had a great year, but as a rookie he’s showing signs. I think we were spoiled by Cam and his amazing rookie year, as well as some of the other rookie QBs like Herbert. Fields is progressing just fine, and I’m pretty confident we’re going to regret not taking him last draft.

All I know is, the o line was the best it’s been all year and I don’t recall seeing a deep pass. I might’ve missed one or two. The run game seemed to click, but where was the play action? Again, where was the deep passes and completions? Defense balled out. After that, we only scored 19 points? What’s the problem? What is going on? This ain’t gone cut it against actual good teams, because I promise you we not holding Tampa to 13. We’re going to need to put up 30/40 points, and this offense can’t do that
-
We have got to get a QB next year. This defense will leak when it faces big time offenses, and we need a guy that can carry the team, even when the defense is just not on it that particular game.

It’s not hard to tell which posters are actually liked in real life. Well, I take that back. It’s not hard to tell which posters aren’t liked in real life. They’re the ones that typically take issue with the people that everyone either likes or gravitates towards. Anyways, I root for Jameis. He was having a decent year, and I wanted him here. Hopefully, he comes back even better.

Derrick Henry Potential Season Ending Foot Injury
AggieLean replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
This should be an interesting thread. Anyways, it was only a matter of time. He has been used a ton by the titans. -
This is why I say everyone just needs to be patient, and wait until the offseason to really discuss this. I highly doubt he gets traded by the deadline. Teams want to get better clarity on his legal issues, and want to know how the NFL is going to move to all this.
-
I’d consider it. Chinn or Burns would cause me some hesitation, but I’d probably do it
-
If I can get a mid round pick for him, I jump on it. This team is going nowhere
-
Just be patient. He’s not getting traded until the offseason. Package CMC then and get it done
-
Is this season boring to you?
AggieLean replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
No superstar(s), no interesting personalities, the wins haven’t been around lately, and I know the losses are about to start piling up. Cant even talk sh*t to my boys. Ain’t been able to do that since 2018 I believe. Ain’t watched a full game since then, either. Im ready for some winning, and a player to get excited about. Only reason I’m a fan now is they’re the home team. Been some exciting football elsewhere, though. I’m loving watching the games of Kyler and Lamar. -
And you got tired of folks talking about Darnold until it was evident by everyone he was trash. I seen your post. You were wrong on Darnold.
-
Is there anyone in here saying he was a HoF QB or top 5? It’s always funny when individuals like you try to discredit Cam, but tried to defend Darnold, who’s a lesser QB. He is everything people like you tried to say Cam was; inaccurate and not smart.
-
I could say Darnold got his contract and got fat and lazy like it’s said about other players on here, but no. Sam was never good to begin with, and he shouldn’t have gotten that 5th year added on
