  1. I seen him in the late rounds, but I kept reading how much teams love him. odd here the best website, for draft range...(I don't know why WOT doesn't like it.) https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/players/2025/cam-jackson
  2. Colston Loveland is listed on more teams boards as #1 TE cause he's better in the passing game.
  3. For this years draft, I feel there's like 2-5% difference between the 8th and 18th. Other years its full round difference. The issue is DK wants a new deal, that's the problem in the trade. It's like he's a FA, but you have to give up a 2nd in order to give him some mega 150 million deal. I don't like that for teams that win 5 games and have so since for the last 6 years. feels like a trap...but good for forum banter .
  4. Deebo was traded for a 5th. They have similar stats and close in age. 1st AND 3rd......?????? what??? Plus he wants big WR money.......
  5. 15-20 million, NO THANKS!! Safety get cut all the time, good ones. I think 6million per is about the limit for me for paying safety. I'd prefer Talanoa Hufanga, a smart team is going to sign him...
  6. AND 30 million per with a new contract. He's the NFL leader in sacks, I just dont see how the Panthers could fit him in with his new deal that is mid-level starting QB money.
  7. the apple of manys eye at including johnsnow, Deone Walker had a awful combine, but guess what??..... Im glad cause I still want him in the third( before he was getting 1st buzz). It was rather bad, but tape wise he looked NFL ready. plus NT is odd spot, its sooo hard for a rookie to be able to play that spot. I feel its even harder than rookie QB. NFL OGs are the smartest on the field and they punish rookie(not Carter or 99) nearly every game until you figure it out years later. I think the Panthers must sign a vet NT and draft one too given its a good year.
  8. If the Panthers did this, you can forget about signing any safety, DL, edges, or LBs that even the biggest fan can recognize. He's going to get 50million in guarantees too. Sure you could add 4 years on end to spread out the cap hit, still this doesn't make sense for many holed Panthers.
  9. Trent willimas is only LT playing at high level into his 30s, but injuries caught him this year. Plus he did sit out a full year in protest. It's not just OL, the whole league over the last 10 years has took a turn towards youth. 30 in the NFL is a fossil. Simply too many college teams turning out cheaper options. You look at FA class and like half it feels are either 30, 31, 29, or 32. Draft is right around the corner, some 275 will get drafted and another 500 signed as UDFAs. It's a meat grinder, super props to any player able to play 10 year careers. It just doesn't happen, crazy how it happened and no one talks about it.
  10. Thanks capMorgan, you has always been on of the "good" ones on the huddle and I have enjoyed your posts over the years.
  11. KC has chosen to pay Smith the young OG. They basically want to move the cap of thuney to the younger smith. @tukafan21 think of injuries too, they hit older players more. The issue is if he's on the roster for week 1, that 20 million is guaranteed. I hate to view players this way, but he's stock that at any point could tank. You cannot pay everyone, especially on winning teams.
  12. Reports are he is in demand form several teams. He "talking" about winning and upside teams. 12million per and at least 3 years??? *looks at career stats*, IM OUT. I just feel you could use a mid draft pick or even UDFA method. Panthers found Bryd and he still playing for 10ish years, he ran a rumored 4.2 during pro day. They are still out there, just got to find them.....(no hope with your piss poor scouts) this guy is late round flyer https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jaylin-lane/32004c41-4e31-2554-c6a4-fc92e7409218 others are just like him. Pro day will show more too.
  13. Out of the top 30, 15 could be DLmen/edges. You got to listen to trade down offers, I feel some team will want to pick the first LT and there's a good chance #8 will be the spot for that action. I need more infor about peacre Jr and this "bad teammate". What is a bad teammate in 2025?? Look at his phone while teammates are talking? Lives in his SM bubble and doesn't care to go bowling with 4th stringers??
  14. I believe not signing anyone the first 3-4 days is the best path for Dan/Panthers/brad. its simple supply demand. slayton is speed, all teams want it. not much proven NFL talent ava. I'd prefer to draft a speedy WR will the hope he could post slaytons weak stats.
  15. Nooooooooooo chance I support drafting a safety at 8th much less the first. Guys please read the room, its not valued among many teams. Cuts Galore, that 8th picks need better usage. Only exception would be Sean Taylor or Ed Reed clone, none are in this draft..
  16. 3 WRs 2 RBs 2 Cs OL depth 2 TE 4 DL 2 edges 3 safety 2 LBs 1-2 CBs 1 Kicker 1 Punter 1 KR 1 PR Basically need a whole team....
  17. I hate the guy, but Sean Payton knows ball as well as anyone living. He was asked about what Carolina needs, first he said a 3rd down passing RB and second a safety TE. He said they need to covert more 3rd downs and attack the middle of the field. He's right.
  18. Believe it or not, this player was drafted #1 overall in 2022. LG much like players not playing in bowl games and not doing combine drills, its maybe a new normal. Draft is more than college stats..... ITS more magic seeing eye future BS!!!1!11!
  19. This needs repeating until the masses understand.
