Anyone that believes getting a couple late season wins to end the season at 4-13 while picking 9th in each round, other than 2-15 with the 1st pick in each round is not being realistic. It happens nearly every other year, Jags gave the browns a insane package to move from 2nd to 5th. If not for late season pointless/everyone forgets late season wins the Panthers would have gotten that franchise changing package. Not to mention Panthers would have had Herbo and Sewell in other years, but nope. Do I need to bring up da bears??? The goal is long term winning in order to make the playoffs, one season to tank could spark it with a Burrow that's gets sacked 60 times on the way to a SB. I want to win as bad as anyone, but the second the Panthers are eliminated from playoff contention, the ONLY solution is to lose the remaining games to gain a better chance to never do that again. No other answer.

If Cam and Luke were truly these HOF game changer that we all believe, their influence should have lead to wins, including b2b. I feel us fans overrated their abilities. Watched some of the Luke coming call 70% of plays before they happened, most of his team mates didn't listen to answer. There was nearly no reaction to his call out, it was bizarre. That seemed to be the main problem. No clue why this never got addressed. Gross and Smitty were here in late stage, each were able to bring good positive play level in their 30s. Cam had the best IOL for around 2.5 years and 2 legit studs at RBs. Lafell was alright for a #2 as well. DL during this time was top tier- Star, KK, Hardy, Johnson.. The D finished in the top 5, I believe two different times and others it no lower than 8th. I just remembered Oher was here for good LT play for what 1.5 seasons, too. Luke and Cam should have better results.

Tony Pauline is a good source far as they go, he's been around for 20 years. IDK ifs its true, but he's always one of the first to report news. Shoulders are among the hardest injuries to know how to heal it. The whole gambit is use- just rehab, stem cells, just rest, you 100% need surgery, wear this, etc etc. It's one of the toughest injuries that you can still play with, as a non-WR/QB. OL and defense guys are always playing with hurt shoulders.

I don't think that's what happened. My take is he or his team reached out to Brandt/Dan and told them if they gave AT a raise for leading his group and dealing with BS, Clowney wants the same deal. Dan/Brandt called around and found out no team would not even pay him 7,700,000 for a 2028 7th comp pick. He told clowney/team and they got feeling hurt. I bet they even asked him to take a pay cut. Clowney is now pissed, release me.....
