now that you mention it I think that's what happened as well. maybe both happened? Bryce carving them up one day, then the next day our O was getting manhandled (which continued into the preseason game).

Just this practice alone is looking pretty promising and I hope it continues to trend that way. I believe last year's joint practice with the Jets gave a lot of hope as well until the preseason game. Let's see how the guys show up when they actually play Saturday.

I bought the hype that week. Even told my wife I'd rock a Young jersey living out here in California. Those dreams quickly fizzled out the following weeks as we put up zero points, 206 yards passing (25.75 yards per quarter), 188 rushing yards (23.5 yards per quarter) no touchdowns, one interception, and sacked 9 times in two games to close out the season. Still cautiously waiting to be proven wrong.

Glad it was nothing major. Bryce: I’m just so grateful that nothing happened. When it was happening I was reminding myself and my teammates that all we gotta do is trust the pilot. Let’s trust the pilot on this one.

We need to bring in a QB who can push and has the capability of replacing Bryce, not back him up. He needs a fire lit under him.
