  1. The only thing I would nitpick about this is how they say "Keep Pounding" without an ounce of enthusiasm or energy. This is our motto. Say it with some passion. It's not just some throw away phrase.
  2. Whenever I watch non-Alabama QBs in the NFL throw I find myself marveling at the velocity and intensity of their passes. I have to ground myself because those are what NFL arms are supposed to look like and I’m just so used to seeing a weak noodle arm passer. He makes good throws here and there, but his norm is that weak arm. If it’s not genetically impossible, is it “bad” for a QB to develop arm strength in the offseason?
  3. It’s the right formula for our QB1, but for a former number one overall pick whom we traded the farm for, I don’t think I can accept that (yet). I
  4. The colors on my TV must've been off because I was thinking our jersey colors were off - making us look like the JAGS.
  5. Chuba just signed a contract extension. Rico signed a one year deal. If we trade Chuba, Rico might play himself out of a contract here.
  6. I hope next week is not a negative stat for a BY led team. We cannot lose to the winless Jets. We’re already the laughing stock of the NFL. Imaging what it’d be like if we lost to a winless team?
  7. he attempted a bad tackle the sprung Pickens loose for a big gain, but other than that today was a cleaner game for him. the incompletion on the goal line was just a bad pass/drop because the ball hit the WR on the shoulder pad - a catchable ball. I wouldn't credit Nick Scott for forcing that incompletion but then that might just be my own bias
  8. Rookies are contributing, but somehow not enough to push Nick Scott off the field.
  9. These types of games are what Bryce supporters/lovers/defenders want to happen in order for him to succeed. If the rush offense and/or run defense sucked, or if any other group has a sub-par day, he hasn't shown that he can take over the game (and that's what you want in a #1 overall pick). all the legos have to fit in order for him to play, and that's unacceptable for someone who has been so highly touted for whatever reason. All I'm waiting for, as a Bryce "hater", is for him to not just make clutch plays once in a while, but to do it consistently and to lift up the team - because that's what a franchise QB is. That's not to say that I am not proud of what he showed today. He made several good plays, and really just one dumb play I can think of. If allowing him to be a game manager and bystander in order to "unlock" his potential so that I can see what these Bryce lovers see in him then I hope it happens.
  10. damn yall, Bryce "hater" here but he delivered. Canales delivered with the right calls. RBs keep pounding. running out the remaining 9 mins left in the 4th quarter for the game winning kick shows this team is growing up.
  11. and I thought Joe Person was bad.
  12. I bought into the $cam newton thing and that one uncomfortable interview thing Gruden put him through. But yeah, once he showed who he was against Arizona I was sold.
  13. To be fair Cam had some lowlights as well, but boy did he have some extreme highlights starting with his first game in the league vs Arizona. BY9 on the other hand, oh wee mayne.
  14. Look at what's happening now with the Bengals. Burrow is out and Chase and Higgins are "struggling" with Browning.
  15. In the older games, when I got bored, I used to trade Cam to the Falcons, and rename/relocate the Bucs to another city which I took over. It was always fun going against Cam and beating the Panthers.
  16. Defense played great, but they were playing against a QB that plays like ours. While I’ll enjoy the win, I also want to temper expectations.
  17. every game we have to try to win with one arm tied to one leg. Young is the literal handicap.
  18. Bryce only "turned it around" because Dowdle went for 200 yards rushing.
  19. Bryce Young the philanthropist - reviving seasons, free stats, etc
  20. Bryce Young Fans: the RB was responsible for the fumble
  21. at this point, I miss that Phil Snow defense.
