  1. The 49ers success is due to Shanahan, and their failures are also due to Shanahan. He wanted to showcase his QBs on the biggest stage each time he’s been in the SB (maybe not Jimmy G) and paid the price. Last night was what Cam was talking about the whole time when he listed Purdy as a game manager. Folks took it out of context and went all “keep my QBs name out yo f#*%%#! Mouth.”
  2. Yeah I'll never root for any division rival past or present. It sucked trading him but it was the right decision at the time. We traded him before he could get injured again. How we spent those picks is another story. Anywho, I believe reports at the time were that he wanted out, but then he presented it as if the trade blindsided him...so CMC the player is dead to me. He's the enemy now. I live in California so I can't imagine how much more unbearable the 49er fans will be if they do win the superbowl.
  3. The narcissist's constant need for adoration.
  4. One good game against a crap defense that made Baker Mayfield look good gave me hope, but he quickly regressed back towards the mean.
  5. Pre-draft and post draft the media, some players, and fans all raved and told us how great a QB Bryce was. I’ve yet to see it. Even if CJ was on this team and we still sucked, he would’ve shown that he belonged. I haven’t seen the intangibles that people were raving about, nor the play making ability. Still waiting.
  6. That would be awesome. Talk about dawgs...3 ACL recoveries and playing in the SB with a broken arm.
  7. as soon as he said "dawgs", he stopped blinking for 15 seconds. point taken.
  8. Brown, Chuba, and Franklin. No one else shows any kind of emotion or tenacity wanting to inflict pain on the opposing team.
  9. maybe you should re-read what I wrote more carefully then.
  10. My hope is that if they build the team right, eventually they’ll see that it’s Bryce holding the team back and draft a new QB eventually. Kind of like what KC did with Alex Smith and Mahomes, and to a certain degree 49ers with Jimmy G - Lance - Purdy.
  11. I hope when Dan said he wants guys who go out onto the field wanting to inflict pain on the opponent applies to our offensive guys as well. our offense has been too soft since Cam left.
  12. For me I rather stomach that contract than what we did giving up draft picks, player, and the number one overall pick
  13. I don't blame him for wanting to cash in on being one of the better players on this sorry team. However, we will remain sorry if we break the bank for him by overpaying his value. I don't see him elevating his game the same way Charles Johnson did after becoming "Big Money." We need to rebuild and cannot do so if we pay him what he thinks he's worth. I rather allocate those funds towards Brown and Luvu.
  14. The moves so far do indicate that Tepper has learned his lesson. Hopefully it’s true and remains that way.
  15. Era of the Canales Panthers has begun.
  16. It’s a neutral statement but has a different meaning when it comes to this organization. We’ll just have to wait and see.
  17. I know nothing about development but is it possible to increase his throwing power as well? I would imagine it has nothing to do with muscle building.
  18. I didn’t know it was a rumor. I was going by what I saw during the pro days. Frank and Josh were all over Stroud, but distant with Bryce. Unless that was smokescreen.
  19. So...this division is still up for grabs. Hopefully we turn things around this year.
  20. Keep Evero if you can. I hope he stays long-term but get why he'd want to leave. It might be a reach but it seems like Tepper is allowing Morgan, and hopefully Canales, the room to assemble their own staff. I believe last year Reich was told who to hire, even if they were folks he hadn't worked with before. Looks like Morgan was able to bring in a fellow Seattle guy.
