  1. If we can land Herro while keeping Miller, Melo, and Williams that’s a great win. Melo, Herro, Miller, Williams with a halfway decent PF is a great starting lineup. Still need a good coach but damn that would be some nice talent on the roster.
  2. So 4 pounds per inch? That’s not really a bigger frame. Trevor Lawrence was pretty slim his rookie year and of course those clips of Brady at the combine.
  3. Many rookie QBs look like that. It just stands out with Young because he is 5’10”. I think Stroud has 4 inches and only like 10-15 pounds on Young.
  4. Damn that’s a tough one, but I think I’d still go with MHJ. He is just so smooth on his routes and has amazing hands. Both should be great pros.
  5. I thought he was going to do great last year. He transferred from a small school where he crushed it. He is looking like that extra year helped him.
  6. Owen McCown coming in and throwing 10/11 for 119 yards and 2 TDs against a SEC defense. Josh should be proud!
  7. McCown’s son is playing against UT for UTSA and is putting up some good numbers
  8. Colorado and Prime will be fine. That school will have a poo ton of NIL money now that Sanders got them this publicity. They should be a lot deeper next year.
  9. He got benched for Finley then worked he way back as a starter. It’s one of the reasons he transferred. He was a legacy QB who was benched for a backup transfer QB.
  10. He sucked at Auburn but Oregon’s offense makes him look a lot better.
  11. I don’t see how you know who they wanted. Also I hope they used a lot more than a Pro Day to make their decision. Sam Darnold turned a lot of heads in his Pro Day in the rain.
  12. Man between Auburn and Carolina I’m not going to see many offensive TDs this year…
  13. I felt the exact same. In college Young excelled under pressure and Stroud didn’t outside of the UGA game. Young was ranked QB1 by most draft analysts. It’s why I was ok with Young as well but I always felt Stroud was the better QB for the NFL. Honestly I still think Young will be ok. The sooner we get Brown calling plays or at least more of his input the better we will be.
  14. That’s not entirely true. Young was widely considered the top QB aside from a couple analysts. People thought we were getting Stroud because his style fit Reich’s previous QB styles in the tall accurate pocket passers. There were several people that wanted us to smokescreen Young so the Texans would trade up for him because they were apparently higher on him as well.
  15. I get the whole Tepper made the pick narrative, but let’s not pretend like it was some insane reach and Young wasn’t ranked at the top QB on most draft boards. Our staff should be able to produce with Young, Stroud, or AR IMO.
  16. Snyder and Haslem. Not the best of company to be in….
  17. He adjusted the score accordingly.
  18. That would be truly incredible and something most people didn't see coming. That's not a reason to draft a player one similarly ranked at a position you already have filled with a great player.
  19. Different staffs have different offenses and different schemes in which they need different sets of players to fit into these schemes. I understand what you are saying, but you could get stuck playing that game of firing year 1 coaches every year. If Bryce proves to be a decent QB that could help the next group, but if he does then we probably won't fire this group so soon. Bengals sucked in year one of Taylor, Sean Peyton is 0-2 as well. I know we finished strong last year, but it was easy to tell we were just running over teams that couldn't stop the run and failed to compete with any other teams. The Bengals game shows you how bad we really were.
  20. I feel like 70% of the Huddle (myself included) preferred Stroud. In fact we did a poll and he was the favorite. I still think Young can be ok but Stroud was a Huddle fav for sure.
