  1. Division champs with Darnold and where would that leave us this offseason?
  2. Same. None of these QBs are worth mortgaging our future for. Arizona at 4 would be an interesting trade partner if the price wasn’t crazy. They don’t need a QB and it would depend if one we liked was still there or not.
  3. It’s really hard to tell how good he will be because that offense UT runs will really inflates stats…
  4. Rodgers just lobbed that one up there. Watson isn’t Adams, he can’t jump through a double team and catch that.
  5. Not consistently. It’s Rivera ball which can look great against bad teams, but awful against good teams. We finished 6-6 but played some bad teams down that stretch…
  6. Developing a player is up to the staff we put around him. We are going to have a different group than we have had in the past. If it works out great! If not we just try to draft one again. It’s not like the old days when they had huge contracts tied to these rookies.
  7. Yeah one is a raw QB that our staff could hopefully develop into a system that fits his strengths with a ceiling that is off the charts. The other is a 5th year NFL starter who is on his second team and shown he struggles reading defenses and struggles under pressure. If Sam was a rookie playing with his inconsistencies I wouldn’t be that concerned. A 5th year player playing like this is an issue.
  8. Lol right! He gets excited when a 5th year vet making 18 plus million looks as good as a solid 5th round rookie that gets a compliment.
  9. I don’t think they saw him as a 1st rounder. They wouldn’t have waited until halfway through the 3rd to draft a 1st round QB.
  10. So the Lions with Ebron and Hock. How have they been since then? Just traded Hock to a rival this year. Falcons with Pitts? They still suck years later. The other ones are retired by now.
  11. He had 10 weeks with no sacks allowed as a rookie LT…. You are completely full of poo. No wonder no one takes you seriously on here.
  12. I kind of want AR at 9 if he is there.
  13. Not every team will view this class’s QBs as high as others. Some teams will love Levis, some will love AR and some may not be high on any of the top options. That’s why so many mocks are wrong every year.
  14. Will OUR top 3 options be gone by 9 and if two of the 3 are gone we may look at moving up to 6/7 for much less capital.
  15. Yeah even the Chiefs have the one seed with a below average WR room…
  16. There is no way to know this early. Jimmy G and Derek Carr will land somewhere. Geno Smith will be available if the Seahawks don’t resign him and if they do they might wait a year on drafting one. There is a lot of offseason left between now and April.
  17. We are in better position that you think IMO. A solid young OL is huge for a new QB. We have a top 10 pick plus plenty of extra picks from the CMC trade plus plenty of cap space the following year. DJ Moore is a nice weapon when used correctly. If a HC knows what he is doing he can work wonders with Brown, Horn, Chinn, Burns, and now Luvu looked solid as well. Plenty of pieces to build on and we aren’t tied to a QB like the Rams and Broncos are with no draft picks.
  18. Even if they do like Hockenson they don’t help the franchise enough to move the needle. The Lions just traded him to a rival for what a 2nd and 3rd with a 4th plus more going to the Vikings??
  19. If a QB we like is hanging around a couple picks ahead of us then we might make a move IMO. Say we like Young, Stroud, and Levis. If 2 are gone and one is hanging out at 6/7, I think we trade up in that scenario.
  20. I’m not against Johnston at 9 depending on our QB situation. I’m very much against a TE in the top 10. Name a franchise that has done that recently with success.
