  1. Agreed. I think people are looking at what is coming due with him. He is in for a big pay day. Would it make sense for a team like us to max out a player right now when we still need a year or two to make a run? On the other hand how likely is it we replace a top young player at a premium position? It's a good debate.
  2. Looks like he only has one INT on the season? I know he has an awesome WR, but so does Stroud, Hooker and others being considered at the top. Air Raid doesn't bother me as much as it use to. I think NFL teams are incorporating some of that into their offenses these days.
  3. I think Von Miller is on the Bills now, but I agree fug him.
  4. Burns' agent is reading these tweets and thinking about how much money his guy is about to make.
  5. I think people just know we aren’t in win now mode, so building for the future makes sense
  6. Something to think about if we aren't picking the top 2 (which is doesn't seem like we will) then Stroud and Young are probably gone when we pick. We could have a chance at a top pass rusher and then take Hooker/Dugan/Richardson/McCall with one of our second picks. OR we could trade on of those future firsts to move up and select Stroud. If gives more options and our cap will be WIDE open after this year....
  7. Duggan has me intrigued. What's the negatives on him? He has a crazy stat line and apparently runs a 4.5. He is playing decent competition and has beaten a ranked team with a clutch drive. He is like 6'2" which tall enough...
  8. I prefer Stroud, but I think Young has been the best under pressure. I would list that as a strength.
  9. If it was this year's first and next year's I would think about it. It's still tempting....
  10. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Max-Duggan-QB-TCU Is this 40 time correct??
  11. Plenty of “disciples”‘are terrible without their boss. Look at Nagy and now McDaniels.
  12. One took us to the Super Bowl and is arguably the best/most important player in this franchise’s history. The other is an elite RB that has been our feature player during one of the worst periods (about winning) of our franchise’s history. Huge difference. I mean what do you think healthy peak Cam would have got us for a trade. It just shows you how much more important one player was vs the other for our franchise.
  13. I mean that is worse to me. He played the position for longer at the college level and was still that raw coming into the draft. I don't think that hurts Richardson at all. If anything it helps...
  14. That's definitely not what I am saying. I said he reminds of him coming out of school. Josh Allen was an inaccurate strong armed, athletically gifted QB from a small school and had a lot to learn to become what he is. I have no clue is Richardson can do that (probably no where to that level). NFL teams are going to be drooling over him when he does the combine/pro day. His schedule is about to get easier so it shouldn't be hard to show growth as a passer. He looked decent against UGA where he was severely outmatched. Should he stay one more year? Probably. Can he get drafted in the first this year? It's still pretty open to me...
  15. Yeah and the same could have been said about Allen (in fact it was). Most had him as a developmental QB with elite trades. If teams fall in love with the player and skillset Richardson could be a first rounder this year.
  16. The most “Josh Allen” QB in the draft to me is Anthony Richardson. He can run around or through people with a cannon for an arm. Still a very raw prospect but has an insane ceiling.
  17. https://www.si.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft/2023-nfl-mock-draft-quarterback-quarterback-quarterback Updated SI Mock has Hooker going number 2?? Seems high to me...
  18. Why are people still arguing. A Rules Analyst just said it shouldn’t have been called. It was a dumb call but it can’t be reversed at this point.
  19. Shaq is the last one that's overpaid IMO. If we can get a decent return for him I'd ship him.
