If the smartest guy offensively on your staff (OC should be) is telling you TMJ was the one of the best WRs on the squad he coached featuring Jefferson and Chase I can completely understand drafting him where we did. Also let's not write him off as a bust just year, he isn't on IR or anything.

I think all of the Cleveland stuff was blown out of proportion anyway. He has always been a solid leader from what I've seen. He was a little immature, similar to Cam. Hated losing and taunted the other team too much.

Not jumping on the Rhule sucks thing, but Paradis was solid before he came here (bad injury I know), Jordan was a FA but he was serviceable with the Bengals if I’m not mistaken, Erving and Elf were below average but still not to the level of bad they have played here. If Corbett and Bozeman see a big drop off coming here (not saying they will because I think they will be solid) we might have to take a look in the mirror at our schemes/preparation. The biggest thing for me is we have a proven OL coach now.

Man after seeing them grade Penning at 94 while allowing 3 sacks on 14 snaps, I’ve given up on PFF. Not saying Butler wasn’t terrible but PFF makes no sense…

I'd go with this. Elf, Erving, and Jordan look much better as depth players (overpriced, but more aligned with their skillsets).

Agreed. Last year we were one of the worst and now this year I hope we can get close to mid-tier....
