Come on now. There is no need for this nonsense. -

I'd be surprised if we are clicking that early regardless. Pleasantly surprised though! -

Right but those couple extra reps the starters get can be useful but not as impactful as some people are making it out to be. Like last year for example, we could have played Bryce all 3 games all series and I truly don’t believe it changes our season unless he got hurt. Plus most of these guys have played under bright lights and big crowds before. High school I’m sure it’s hitting different. -

I don't think it's useless. I think it's as useful as a joint practice. One is just televised and presented more as an actual game. The number of snaps most starters get in the preseason is usually pretty low. I do think it doesn't mean anything when it comes to the regular season. If we went 3-0 in the preseason I would be excited, but I wouldn't change my record prediction of 6 wins being a good season. If we go 0-3 I still probably have the same expectations. -

Conservative scrimmages where starters can be playing against players that might not make a team. The whole 3 game preseason schedule changed it up. I doubt they will get rid of them thought because they can sell tickets for a scrimmage. -

They did the opposite yesterday. Social media is always reactive and dumb about this stuff. -

This is why we need to keep practicing this. A lot of deep passes are timing/chemistry. I hope we keep pressing and practicing it even if it leads to turnovers in practice. -

The only people I see getting criticized are ones who overreacted to the first practice. We looked bad one practice and one decent one (on offense). Some people are genuinely irritated at this? It’s just practice. It’s good we looked decent but it means nothing until the regular season starts. If we light up the next preseason game it still means nothing. The same goes for vice versa. -

He said they get more out of joint practices vs PREseason games. Said preseason was more "vanilla" than joint practices. Regular season game time matters the most no doubt. -

We had a bad practice and our season was already over yesterday. We have a decent one today and people are mocking fans for being excited about practice. Man you can't even make this stuff up. -

Just the QB right? Chuba looked like he got hit pretty hard NM you were talking about Bryce specifically -

I'm just replaying to what is being reported by the people there. I'm sorry if that bothers you. -

Hopefully our offense can build on this. We were missing our best weapon in Johnson on offense as well. Still not an actual game, but hopefully it will build some confidence. -

Bryce Young slings a 30ish yard out route throw to Johnny Mingo to sideline. Mingo beat DJ Reed by a couple steps for the big gain in 11s. -Mike Kaye -

Thanks @Icege and @Jackie Lee for the updates. A lot of people were wanting to see how we handled the Jets this year vs last. Day 1 looks like a decent showing. Hopefully we can build on this. Hot Take -I prefer not making hot takes and reading what the mods are adding -

He is actually playing well with rushers today. They can’t tackle him but they still get pressure, sacks, and deflections. -

We got deep passes, TDs, fights, a couple turnovers by our defense. Can't complain with the energy so far. HOT TAKE Coffee tastes like dirt- 586 replies

He is the one that almost got Milton in the preseason I believe. *DJ Johnson is going to be a pleasant surprise this year making us forget about how angry we were when he was "overdrafted" by us.
