Vikings at Panthers Predictions - Let's hear it

What the hell people? We aren’t losing this game! Panthers find some rhythm on offense and win 28-20. I want to read some optimistic fan takes! CJ Henderson is going to get a pick after starting to get comfortable in this defense. Also Burns is due a sack or two. Let’s go Panthers! You all better keep pounding! -
He definitely seems to be playing decent when I watch. I kind of wonder how many pressures he would give up if our interior was better. If the defense is getting through the middle instantly and getting sacks/pressures that is less opportunity for the tackles to give up a sack. It’s like being an average CB, but the other CB is awful and his guy is wide open so they never throw to the average CB’s man giving him good stats. This may all be considered in PFF already?

Honestly Erving hasn’t been terrible (or maybe Daley, Paradis, and Miller have made him look good). I keeping thinking Erving, Christensen, Paradis, Brown, and Moton are the way to go. Erving can be plugged in at LG, or LT and BC at RT or G with Brown taking the other guard spot. Paradis would still be there, but maybe he gets better with better guard play? I really want to get a fair evaluation of Darnold with decent protection before the offseason…

I mean both Miller and Paradis played better (not great, but better) last year. Something is off…

Yep. Give up the completion and make the tackle….

Andrews is on my fantasy team.

I don’t get it. Both Miller and Paradis played better than this last year… They weren’t great, but they weren’t God awful.

He also can’t cover…

Smitty puts the blame yesterday all on the OL

Wait? Did our line play bad yesterday? -
Rhule blames the D when asked about offensive struggles

Agreed. Plus we are missing Shaq, Horn, and Burris… -

A blocked point and 3 turnovers is a lot to put on a defense… -
Moton, Erving, Elf, Brown, Christensen. If they are going to play that bad, get the rookies out. At least they will get better in theory…

Honestly is because the other two were already proven. They had MVP seasons in this league and have proven they have what it takes to play the position at a high level for a full season. Sam has not done that yet.

If Darnold doesn’t pan out and Fields keeps developing, we need someone else evaluating QBs. Teddy was already a mistake…

Watching Rashawn Slater be great makes me sad and angry.

He has blood clotting issues that worried some coaches about how long/if he will play. In the 5th/6th it’s a no brainer, but not much earlier. -
I mean there is a solution when a coordinator isn’t performing…

Very Discouraged By Rhule and His Comments After the Game
ForJimmy replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
We knew it was a rebuild from last year. Winning a few games early always raises expectations to unrealistic levels. Should we have won this game? Yes! Does losing it mean Rhule can’t coach and we are stuck at being a mediocre franchise? No. I just didn’t expect our team to scrap all it franchise players, repairs it’s salary cap, and be a playoff team in year 2. We had a ton of needs when Rhule took over. Let’s let him rebuild and not overreact. I mean Sam went from being a Tannehill/Rodgers one week to Jets Sam the next by our fans. Let’s just be patient and see how this season unfolds. -

I saw 2 Robby drops on critical plays that would have won us this game with our best player, LT, MLB, and best CB injured. These overreactions are getting insane. The 2 things that discouraged me this game were 1. Sam going back to bad habits (I’m sure his protection has some to do with it. 2. Our interior line being nearly unwatchable. Sign a FA to send a message (doesn’t matter who) and let Brown take reps away from Daley in practice. BC and Moton (obviously) should be locks to start. I don’t care if we put Moton back to RT and let BC play guard. Honestly Erving LT, BC LG, Moton at RT might be our best option with Brown giving RG a shot. We should have won this game, but we didn’t. How we respond is going to dictate our season. Rhule and Brady better be in the film room all week and make some OL changes soon. I’m not really concerned about the playoffs as much as us improving from last year. 8-9 or 9-8 would be good providing we show improvement and development of our young team. Year 3 is usually Rhule’s year judging by his history. -
