  1. Maybe when he is rushed it’s more of throwing the first guy open. When he has time he is still processing our offense and who he should throw to vs what the defense is doing. He does seem to play best when the play breaks down. It’s a new offense/scheme so hopefully this will get better as the season goes.
  2. I was very hesitant about trading for Darnold, but he has played great and I’m thrilled about it. I hope he gets better and becomes our franchise QB. I love being wrong when it’s in the Panther’s favor!
  3. Our D was somewhat exposed. It didn’t get its usual penetration…
  4. Keep in mind Gooby was trying to tell me Darnold held Gase back while coaching the Jets. That he had plenty of talent and Darnold was the weakness. He is a strange poster and has been waiting all season for Darnold to lose.
  5. I’m definitely critical of him. I was pushing for Fields in the draft because I didn’t trust him. But he has played fine this year. He had a bad game where the whole team poo the bed and you start acting like he can’t win without a stacked team. Bad throws will happen, especially when QBs are getting hit 11 times in one game. I brought in a MVP to the conversation to show how dumb it is to overreact after a bad team performance. I saw one pass he overthrew this game (to Robby). That’s just football…
  6. The point is even MVPs overthrow players from a clean pocket. He also has a good line, weapons, and a great pass catching RB in Jones. How did Rodgers look when the Saints dominated his line like the Cowboys did to ours? Did he throw picks? Overthrow targets?
  7. Jets just beat the Titans. I know they are bad, but wins are wins. The Saints were missing some players, but outside of Lattimore and their center, no one that crucial to their team. Hell we were missing CMC, Horn, YGM, and Burris against Dallas… but no one is making an excuse for their win.
  8. Rodgers over here leaving TDs on the field. Overthrew Tunyon in the end zone and had to settle for a FG.
  9. It wasn’t the same line…. That’s the point. The tackles got injured and he got crushed in the SB because of it. They traded for a new LT this year (because he struggled without one) and have been meh… *you’re a clown
  10. Yeah he might start 3-1 without those things. Terrible…
  11. Aaron Rodgers just overthrew his TE from a clean pocket. Terrible…
  12. I know right? I’m literally watching Big Ben overthrew JuJu from a clean pocket as I read this. Underthrown is an INT, so it’s either overthrown or perfect. When QBs are constantly getting pressured overthrows are pretty common. They are rushed while avoiding the INT.
  13. What do you want to go by? TDs? Completion %? Yards? Wins? Let me guess we will just use your “eye test” because nothing else backs your nonsense.
  14. On a side note the Jets just beat the Titans. Just shows no matter who you play wins are hard to come by in this league. 3-1 is a nice start!
  15. Oh because he had a playmaker he was throwing too? No other top QB has that….
  16. Gregory had his number today. Erving was ok the previous 3 games.
  17. Yet he had the 6th highest QBR in the league before this game? Something is not adding up??
  18. Cam had many games like this because he rarely had a good line. He had a decent line in 2015 and look what happened.
  19. The had 11 QB hits, 5 sacks, Sam went into the injury tent and you are upset he overthrew a pass to Robby?? I get you have been patiently waiting these past 3 weeks for him to have a bad game, but come on man…
  20. Lol are you trolling? You just said a QB isn’t going to connect on longer passes if the offensive line protects better?? That’s EXACTLY how any QB can complete longer passes…
  21. Hell the Chargers only sacked Mahomes twice last week, but he had worse stats than Darnold this game. I’m not saying Darnold is our next franchise QB, but this game was a disaster on many levels; bad calls by the refs, missed FG leading to a short TD, defense got crushed the 2nd half, our offensive line got dominated, and Darnold had INTs from pressure reads. They all go hand in hand. The lingering problem is our line has been bad all year, but we were able to hide it with CMC, leaning on our defense, and throwing quick passes to control the clock. If we fall behind we aren’t going to have a chance with this line. Teams are going to blitz the middle and left all day long…
  22. At least he looked off the defense. Looking at where the ball is going from snap to throw is an easy INT for the defense. Moore was wide open.
