  1. They stack up favorable to Burns. Sweat is not quite as good at pass rushing, but better at run defense (should be cheaper too). Young could be great, but has injury issues.
  2. I think we could have used that 2nd round pick on a pass rusher plus signed a decent one. Hell we could have traded for either of Washington's pass rushers and still had those 1sts.
  3. Yeah having similar ideas for offense and you are mad the offense looks similar???
  4. You are missing the point. I don't care if you like Brown. I like Brown and Evero just fine. The blocking we are using is the same blocking Brown learned under in LAR. I'm just stating there are obvious components of a Brown offense in here as well, and the OL might be the worst part of our offense. The whole collaboration thing Brown was talking about lines up. All you have told me about Frank is he runs shotgun a lot which we were going to do anyway with Young. You have to stop trying to hijack these threads with your old repetitive arguments.
  5. I think that GIF should just be the default response to him when he starts going down his deep conspiracy road. He should make it his avatar.
  6. What if I told you are zone OL blocking scheme is very similar to the one McVay runs in LAR where Brown learned? People were excited about Corbet coming back because he is familiar with it from his time there.
  7. Yeah see this is where it starts sounding crazy. All of this for something your average fan doesn't really care about. Coaches exaggerating how good his players are/his coaching it makes sense and happens all the time. Hell they SHOULD do this to a degree to give their team confidence. What you are talking ab out looks like this...
  8. But take last year's roster/team when they were healthy (yes it's hard to imagine Horn healthy) and replace Darnold with CJ Stroud (or some other solid young QB). Add in a few FAs and mid/late draft picks and those roster/team SHOULD be competitive. The problem is they switched schemes to nullify the OL (our offensive strength), traded away the only true weapon on offense, replaced Foreman with Sanders etc...
  9. lol yeah without a doubt to a degree. There are always some elements of playing to strengths in every roster. AT moving to the slot vs outside would be an example, moving to a 3-4 for Brown and Burns is another. Overlooking the skillset of his OL is by far the biggest mistake he has made this offseason. Lying about who helped design a playbook though would have no advantage whether it be PR or hype about the team. That's when things overblown by us fans and legit complaints get lumped into nonsense ones.
  10. Which is why I'm not too concerned about what really thought about the roster/team before the season started. He and his staff developed an offense without taking into consideration the strength of the players on the roster.
  11. Yeah I think he jumped the gun on changing the entire scheme before the roster was ready.
  12. The guy that's having our OL playing the wrong scheme which is turning an actual strength to a weakness in an already depleted roster?
  13. Yep I was typing similar. If we are rebuilding then do a legit rebuild.
  14. If they do fire Fitt they should look at firing Reich and letting the new GM pick his HC. Honestly the best thing moving forward would hiring a director like many have stated to run things, having a committee (ran by new director) find a new GM and letting the new GM find his HC. I don't like pairing new GMs with old HCs and vise versa. Build a roster and offense around Young and see how he does the next year or two. If the new HC doesn't like what he see from Young after year 2 we will have our 1st rounder back to try again and let him pick his guy.
  15. I wanted Ben Johnson, but yeah he gave us a no thank you. You would think Steichen would have been next on our list since he is similar to Johnson.
  16. I liked him but he plays the slot which is the ONE position we are decent at thanks to AT.
  17. I agreed he should be held accountable. No doubt. Sorry he laughed at you.
  18. I don't think people are ok with that. Campen should be held accountable for the horrendous OL performance this year. I just think most professional coaches aren't going to interact with mad fans from the stands. He probably laughed it off because he had nothing to say nor should he say anything back.
  19. Exactly. Such a pointless nonsense thing to argue about. It's not fighting the big corp or being edgy by challenging what narrative they are throwing our way. It just a pretty basic comment that makes perfect sense. Yes the OFFENSIVE coordinator probably helped create an OFFENSE with his OFFESINVE minded head coach. It's nothing groundbreaking and the average fan really doesn't give a poo.
  20. Damn I wanted Bell to play. We need him back. Robinson didn’t play too bad in his limited snaps last week.
  21. Everyone is now saying the same thing but trying to word it like they were correct. Brown did sit down and make out playbook WITH Reich and used Reich's offense as a base for his new offense. The Panthers site shared an interview where this is stated so it's not some coach speak PR BS nonsense that people on here love to cry about. It's literally what the team/staff is saying and it sounds like the truth. This is an offense designed by Reich AND Brown featuring a playbook designed by Brown AND Reich that is described as 60% Reich and 40% Brown. It's mostly shotgun because our QB is Bryce Young. There is no PR stunt, no lying/deceiving the public, just people on his misinterpreting EXACTLY what the team is saying. Jesus people everything about this 1-6 team isn't some conspiracy with ole Reich as the mastermind behind it.
