  1. I think over half the Huddle had him as QB1. With that said I hope Young cooks his team today.
  2. It’s really dumb. Stroud threw like 12 INTs over two years in college in a pass heavy offense. He just looks ignorant trying to highlight one of those plays at this point…
  3. He has been playing hurt for the past couple games. He typically has been playing through it.
  4. Yeah and 3 of his final 5 are ranked with WSU and Arizona being the other 2. He can do it, but it will be tough. Next year they should be a lot more complete.
  5. The last 3 have probably been his worst ones which is odd. It is Riley’s system but last year he put up some crazy numbers. Penix is getting overlooked in this class and I know he is old.
  6. Honestly I like both Evero as Brown as HCs better than Reich.
  7. Agreed. Boldin would be more of a ceiling as in something we hope he can become.
  8. I simply stated who some scouts had as his NFL comparison. I honestly didn’t follow Mingo in college.
  9. Ok well let’s just see if they trade away their first round WR from a year ago or not. I’m betting they don’t but I won’t complain if we get him.
  10. Yes a random writer suggested they trade him. I don't see them moving on from a first round WR after a year and a half when they haven't been able to see what they have him. Generally teams that are contending don't give away players/weapons to acquire talent, they would likely move draft picks. They have St Brown and LaPorta is looking legit, but are an offensive team that isn't wanting to get rid of fire power. It's why the Bengals aren't trading Higgins this year either. They want him for the playoiffs.
  11. Yeah he is about right for a 3rd stringer IMO. I'd prefer a development younger QB, but he works.
  12. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/p.j.-walker-career-record-as-starter I'm showing a 5-3 record which is great, but 8 INTs to 4 TDs 61% completions with 6.5 yards per attempt. He isn't what I would want in a backup because he is a wildcard IMO. He may look great one play and terrible the next. I'd rather have a Dalton with a higher floor and lower ceiling game manager type of backup. Teddy for example is a great backup.
  13. I really don't understand the argument. IF he was then it was clearly something he couldn't handle yet and they had to simplify the process for him so it's really irrelevant.
  14. I understand you love Alabama, but you can’t trade for players who aren’t available.
  15. Nah I agree with LG. A shootout against your friend with you having the game winning drive would be perfect. Strong competitors like strong competition. They want to go against the best performing at their best and beat them.
  16. He went into extra detail which isn't needed. Rodgers also said Young looks the part, Cam also said something similar. You can say you aren't upset about wins but the first response you had on here was our record and how it relates to our QB.
  17. Jimmy G is showing us your exact point. On the Niners with an elite defense, running game, OL, and weapons he was winning a lot. You take away some of those things like he is missing on the Raiders and wins don't come so easily.
  18. Yeah one is looking at his play through the eyes of a fellow professional QB at the highest level and the other is looking at it through the eyes of an upset fan who just wants a win. It's all about perspective.
  19. I really don’t think he is that guy. This man listens to gospel on the way to practice. Lives and breathes football, while growing up without much. He seems to be a genuinely humble person who grew up with Young. Their hug on draft day was full of emotion. Honestly he was a safe prospect with a high floor and I think we overthought it.
  20. Stroud is out here echoing some similar views as @Zod https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/c-j-stroud-i-dont-think-bryce-young-is-playing-badly-in-any-way-aspect-or-form “Honestly and personally, watching the film and watching every game of his, I don’t think in any way, aspect, or form, he’s playing bad,” Stroud said. “That’s what people think if you’re not winning or you have a turnover here or there. Bryce is playing some really good football. I just don’t think people watch in depth — like if you’re a quarterback, you know. I think he’s playing really well. “Of course, there’s always things you can clean up. I can clean up a lot of things. I’m not here to be his coach — I’m here just to support. We texted a couple of weeks ago, just checking in on each other and it was nothing about football. That’s not our relationship, but personally, I think he’s playing well and I think he’ll continue to be great in this game because he has that swagger and mentality and that type of playing style.”
  21. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jonathan-mingo/32004d49-4e17-0999-c137-d684c1d1ab38 It's just comparing their style of play. Big physical WRs that will fight for the catch. This was pre-draft so yeah they didn't know what situation he would be drafted into. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/gm-report/draft-analyst-compares-jonathan-mingo-to-anquan-boldin Looks like they have similar athletic ability as well.
