It is also useless to point out every flaw in a quarterback in his 2nd year without critiquing players around him for their mistakes. I had about decided Bryce was not the answer when he was benched for 2 games. With the improved play as of late he deserves a fair chance.

Yes, and the kicker missed an extra point that would have won it without overtime. I have not read anything about him. If I remember on the trip Christensen stepped back into him.

If you look at the statistics it can be deceiving. He made critical plays when he had to. I had rather have a win if he only had 50 yards passing than a loss and a 300 yard game. He is gaining more confidence. It has been a long time since the Panthers scored 36 points.

We sure need to nail the draft this year. If we do The Panthers should make a huge jump next year.

Current Draft Position & Potential Prospects

I agree. A solid defensive line that can put pressure on the quarterback immediately helps the defensive backs -
They did what they had to do. If he had not started to talk about returning next year they would have waited. Mack tried to pull a power play. Some very influential and high donors in the Rams Club were irate.

One smart move that Dan Morgan and Canales did was realize the offensive line needed to be addressed. As Bryce gets more confidence in his protection we should be able to see the true Bryce, good or bad. I am excited about Canales. I truly believe Dan Morgan and Canales have the Panthers trending up.

Without the dropped passes he would probably have 300 yards, maybe another touchdown. The balls he threw away were in such a tight window they would have probably have been intercepted. The cbs broadcaster talked about him several minutes after the game and his growth.

I see some improvement in the receivers. The confidence in their ability seems to be positive. The big test will be in the results against winning teams. It is so refreshing to have a good offensive line. -

Common denominator between Jets and Panthers

We also had a terrible offensive line when Baker and Darnold were here. That makes it hard to evaluate a quarterback. -

First sentence I agree with, but not his contract in Carolina.
-
I am more concerned about the defense now that the offense has shown a spark.
-
I may get assaulted for saying this, but if Baker Mayfield or Sam Darnold would have had this offensive line their time in Charlotte might have been different. While not great, this is a very competent offensive line.

After Mac Jones and Bryce I would have to be really convinced before I drafted Milroy. I wonder if it is the Alabama system with so much talent that makes these guys look better than they are
-
Exactly what I thought! I was waiting to see if anyone else caught that.

Sideline behavior says a lot. On some teams I see the quarterback on the sidelines encouraging other players. The Panthers sideline has other players trying to encourage Bryce.

Just dreaming…Not having a #1 pick this year we have several lower round picks that could really prove to be finds. Hopeful.
