  1. It’s called a rhetorical question, look it up i gave you my opinion
  2. Do we want the Cowboys to win? I feel like it’s better for us if they do so they’re not as desperate.
  3. The Panthers’ move to get corner C.J. Henderson is, indeed, an aggressive one. And a big part of why it’s a gamble is figuring out what Henderson mindset is. Much of the issue with Henderson, and trouble in getting him going the last few months, stemmed back to a simple question: How much does he really want to play football? Yes, I know people get upset when a player’s love for the game is questioned, but that was a very real thing for the Jaguars, and is especially vital when you consider how Henderson’s potential as an athlete has outpaced his production as a player. The Jaguars did their best the last two months to try and get the best from Henderson, and now the Panthers will get a swing at the same challenge. And if it works out, they’ll have two corners drafted in the top 10 playing on rookie deals when Jaycee Horn gets back from injury. But the “if” here is indeed a big one. • So why do the Panthers feel good about it? Their corners coach, Evan Cooper, gave Henderson his first scholarship offer, when Henderson was still on his high school’s J.V. team, and Cooper was on staff at the University of Miami. The two have remained in contact since, and so Cooper’s background with Henderson was a factor in bringing him in. Based on that background, there’s also a belief that Henderson will be a better fit for Matt Rhule’s program than he was for Doug Marrone or Urban Meyer. And we’ll invoke the “if” again here … If it works out, the Panthers really just moved one of their picks in April down two rounds (they sent a three to the Jags and got a five and TE Dan Arnold back), and they’ll have him for less than $1 million for the rest of this year, $2.48 million for next year and $3.41 million in 2023. https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/09/27/maqb-week-3-panthers-trade-for-cj-henderson-fields-belichick
  4. Well rumors can still be fake if you take a comment that someone has personal problems and you turn it into something bigger
  5. Apparently this is just a rumor randomly started on social media comment sections. Kid may be going through a tough time but no evidence whatsoever of any mental breakdowns or issues. Even if he had depression or anxiety, those affect more than 40% of adults 18-29 years old and should not be stigmatized.
  6. Thanks, I visited a few times but honestly didn't have a chance to read all the posts.
  7. I am as excited as anyone about the trade, but what are these concerns about his mental health or behavioral concerns that I keep seeing on Twitter? Any insights? I knew he was disgruntled but I didn't think he had any major character issues. I am hopeful that Fitterer and Rhule did their due dilligence.
  8. This. It's all about value. We're getting young players who are still on their rookie contracts at the ceiling that you could only pray for in a 2nd or 3rd rounder at those positions.
  9. Yes he even compared the Tremble pick with Chinn pick, someone who is very versatile.
  10. Rhule already said that Boye will be active against Cowboys. I think this is a depth play for what will be a touch secondary matchup on Sunday. Henderson may not be able to play and may need time to catch up on our scheme.
  11. This is robbery. While he doesn't completely replace Jaycee, our secondary is now much better. Arnold and a third is a great deal. I am also excited to see Tremble get Arnold's reps now. Also - keeping all those TEs on the roster suddenly makes a lot of sense.

    My god

Honestly, it's on Darnold to recognize the blitz may be coming and tell Chuba to stay and protect, while ensuring he has a hot route option. .
  13. It is early, and we must underline that. Okay, I will. It’s early. But the Sam Darnold experiment, through three weeks, both in what the eye can see and through the various analytical lenses of Pro Football Focus, is going well. September 2021 will be the second-best month of his pro career (he was 3-1 in November 2019 with the Jets, with a 107.5 rating), and with some soft defenses coming in October, Darnold just might keep this career renaissance going. What is better for him as a Panther than as a Jet (other than, of course, everything): • He’s taking better care of the ball. Last week, coach Matt Rhule told me to watch how they call plays late in games, putting the ball in Darnold’s hands instead of running it more (even with Christian McCaffrey out). “We trust him,” Rhule said. So far, through 12 quarters, Darnold has one interception and one lost fumble. PFF figures show his turnover-worthy plays—plays that should have resulted in turnovers—were at 4.1 percent in his three Jets’ seasons, and are at 2.5 percent so far this year. • He’s been protected better. You don’t think of the Panthers as having a formidable front line, but Darnold has been pressured on 32.5 percent of pass-drops. In his last two years with the Jets, he was pressured 42.0 percent of the snaps. • He’s making big plays. Another PFF metric is “big-time throws,” meaning passes that can result in big gains. Career average with Jets: 3.6 percent of his throws. Three-game average in Carolina: 5.3 percent. • Joe Brady’s helping. Nobody talks much about the effect of play-action on quarterback success, but the Carolina offensive coordinator is a firm believer. Darnold’s rate of play-action in his three Jet seasons: 25, 24, 21 percent. This year, it’s 30 percent in Carolina. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/09/27/fmia-week-3-nfl-sean-mcvay-tom-brady-new-england-peter-king/
  14. You don't think the Saints are legitimate? They dominated against Green Bay and New England!
  15. Teddy will regress back to the mean, wait until he has to orchestrate a comeback and throws a completion 5 yards short of the 1st down on 4th and 10
  16. Agreed. Rhule is more like Bellicick than Rivera in this regard
  17. I'm sure that will be one of the excuses that Aikman will use if we win
  18. Fields looked like hot garbage. Sacked 9 times and netted only 1 passing yard. I am so glad we dodged that bullet
  19. I know they’re overrated and should be 0-2 if the refs didn’t negate two Chargers TD on bs penalties.
  20. Worth a watch. Btw I didn’t realize we have the 31st pass blocking line. Welp!
  21. Starting corners are not unemployed or on practice squads
