Official Panthers at Bills please don't embarrass us GameDay thread
KSpan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
There were 3 turnover on downs prior to late in the 4th quarter and only 2 of them were in field goal range, with Buffalo getting the ball at their own 24 and 15 yard lines, aka right where they'd be after post-FG kickoffs had Carolina kicked. The third was when they chose to go for it at the 50. Your assertion is simply incorrect. -

You know what Rhule was talking about last week and what I'm referencing here. They lost their placekicker, not a punter, so the defense still gave up that many points. There weren't interceptions/fumbles that gave short fields. Don't be pedantic. -

And another game giving up 30 points, but no turnovers this week to blame it on. -

Evidence to date does not point to him being a good and/or NFL-caliber coach either. -

Now they throw a flag on Buffalo. Mm'kay. -

And just like old days, Cam is carrying the entire offense. Also, what team doesn't have a contingency plan already in place for a kicker injury? -

Jesus Christ. These refs coupled with Carolina's own dumbassery is just... ugh. -

Bring Chinn back near the LOS and good things happen... who could have foreseen that? -

Man, I'm tired of watching this defense get toasted the exact same way week in and out. Just like I'm tired of seeing slant after slant after slant week in and week out. -

Just a comically atrocious playcall. -
Emergency QB’s for Panthers if affected by Covid

Heard his arms are too short to be an effective QB. -
Kansas City started three rookies last night - C, RG, and RT. 2nd, 3rd, and 6th rounders, and this was on top of trading for Brown and signing Thuney. If only...

More power to him if he can convince someone to give him that kind of money and/or an automatic starting gig. Taking that at face value, the fact that he doesn't think Denver will be that team says all there is to really know.
-
All reasonable, but I still stand by my premise that players whining on social media about fan comments doesn't necessarily equate to a lost locker room.
-
Right, and I'm not at all saying Rhule and co. are equivalent to Reid, but rather that athletes can be social media divas in lots of situations.

Eh, I get it but guys like Tyrann Mathieu (who I personally think is a bit of a thin-skinned b....) were clamoring about KC fans being the worst in the NFL and "one of the most toxic fan bases in all of sports" and they seem to have turned it around. https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/10/30/tyrann-mathieu-says-chiefs-may-have-one-of-the-most-toxic-fan-bases

The 2001 team was at least entertaining, if not competitive a fair bit of the time, and invented new and interesting ways to lose, and the 2010 team had the promise of the #1 overall pick and a brand new staff for 2011. At the moment we're just in this weird purgatory that has lasted for several years.
-
No they're not. They beat bad teams and wilt against good ones, just like their starting QB. They've benefitted from one of the easiest 2021 schedules to date. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/ranking/schedule-strength-by-other Carolina's a dumpster fire for sure, but Teddy B sure isn't any kind of answer. Maybe Denver gets into the playoffs but as has been discussed as nauseum on here, being just good enough to sneak to the playoffs shouldn't be the objective.

Rhule's brand of analytics right there.
-
They can count things even after that BS roughing earlier.
-
Roughing the passer?!? Wtf.
-
Holy crap, are these adjustments we are seeing? What are these points in the 3rd quarter?
-
It was a net 24 yard interception that gave them the ball near midfield. It was absolutely not equivalent to an actual punt.
-
I assume this is sarcasm/a dig at the last bad punt. If so, might not be wrong.
