I don't think I've ever seen a coach trust a QB as little as canales does.... I get it that Bryce sucks, but he is 100% on a mission to make Bryce fail

It's truly baffling... Every play the play clock is down to 5 or less before we snap. You would think we are up 3 touchdowns...

The good news is any answer will be more productive than watching this dumpster fire team get steamrolled every game

Less the talent, moreso the team being unprepared most weeks, terrible play calling, trying to run the clock out in the last 2 minutes down 10, and more stuff I can't think of right now

We all know Bryce sucks, but each passing game is making me realize Canales isn't any better. Clean house of everyone - from gm to Coach to coordinators to position coaches and come out with a completely new front office for next year's draft

Didn't realize how much cover 3 he runs. Seeing how many throws went to the middle of the hashes or boundaries about 10 yards deep, wish we ran some more Cover 2 zones that game

And the only reason we are 28th is because we gave Horn a new contract in the offseason. Otherwise, we would be dead last

Go watch one of the million videos posted in threads that past few days reviewing Bryce and that will give you your answer. Off the top of my head, Renfrow twice on a wheel route for a TD, Renfrow twice on a comeback route with about 5 yards of separation, XL 2 or 3 times on in routes (which I guess I'll excuse because he probably would have dropped them anyway), Tet on a deep post that Bryce overthrew. I'm sure there were more plays - there are just too many to keep track of.

Agreed! If by downfield, you mean throwing the ball 20 rows deep on 4th and 1 or throwing the ball way out of bounds on open wheel routes

This pic would be better if it showed XL dropping the torch as they hand it to him like he does half the passes thrown his way

What to do: Start scouting the QBs hard in the draft - if you don't like any of them, don't reach for a QB, trade down to let another team reach for a QB and rebuild the defense. If there is a QB you like, take him (we should have a top 5, maybe top 3 pick at the end of the year). If we don't draft a QB, let Bryce tank again the following year for another top 5 pick and repeat above before letting Bryce walk (if we can get a 5th rounder or better, trade him I guess). We are so many pieces away from a Superbowl team right now - what I don't want to see is us desperate for a QB and draft another awful QB high in the draft.

And let's not forget that 10 of the Jacksonville points were a result of a bad BY pick that gave Jacksonville a short field and the failed onside kick that gave Jacksonville a short field

At least we didn't trade away multiple 1st and 2nd round picks for our defense to suck like we did for Bryce to suck... Bryce is the reason we have been awful since week 1 of 2023 and will probably be awful for at least another 2 seasons after he is gone. And not sure why people keep saying BC plays better than Icky... Sure, BC is probably a slightly better pass protector than Icky, but people fail to realize Icky is one of the best run-blocking tackles in the league. Want to know why Chuba ran for so many yards last year? A big reason is because of Icky. Want to know why Chuba didn't do much running the ball last week? A big reason is because of Icky (and Bryce being so bad Jacksonville wasn't worried about the pass)...

Hmmm.... why could we be mad?? Maybe because we drafted Bryce #1 in 2023 and he still sucks + have tried to draft and sign every high value free agent on offense to help Bryce out. Want to know why our defense sucks... We spent a crap ton of cap space on Hunt & Lewis because Bryce can't see over the oline while drafting mostly offensive players in the draft the past 2 years. I think most of our fan base would struggle to name a player on our defense besides DB and Horn. And the sad thing is... Our defense somehow outperformed our offense week 1, despite having little talent and a ton of new parts. I will give you 1 thing though... We should be less mad at Bryce and more mad at Tepper/the front office that thought Bryce was worthy of the #1 pick.
