  1. Oh well... That Tampa win better be our last of the season. I have a hard time finding 2 more wins on Detroit's schedule
  2. I mean... If our starting kicker wasn't hurt, he wouldn't even be in the league..
  3. Lol... Pineiro says "Don't worry boys, I'll keep our tank hopes alive"
  4. Outside of Justin Tucker, I'm not sure there is another kicker that is automatic on any kicks less than 50... It sucks he missed it, but low IQ plays like that from DJ is what makes a team a perennial loser
  5. In all honesty, that will probably be the high point of DJ's career. A long TD against possibly the worst secondary in football on a 2-5 team playing an equally as bad 3-4 team...
  6. And this is where the legend of PJ Walker begins! The legend of tanking to the number 1 overall pick
  7. LOL, gonna lose the game and fail to cover the spread. After being up 4 with 2ish minutes left
  8. Tampa laying an egg last week really fuged us over... Can we just put Burns, Moore, Foreman, Brown, and anyone else good on IR for whatever made up reason and just throw the cast of the Replacements out there the rest of the season?
  9. We aren't out-tanking the Lions unfortunately. They legit are intentionally losing despite playing well the 1st 3 quarters of games.
  10. The real question is... who the hell is spencer brown and what dumpster did we pull him out from?
  11. Welp... It's on the offense to win it. Never thought I'd say those words
  12. That's because the word "balance" doesn't exist in McDooDoo's dictionary...
  13. This right here is why we need to tank for a top QB... We will never be anything better than below average without a good QB
  14. If only they use one of his better "dumb look" faces...
  15. 7-10?? 6-11 honestly might get it - having six games against the other NFC South teams really screwed over our tanking plans...
  16. Yeah, that's how he looked to me in the 2 games of his I watched. Granted, the Kentucky oline is not very good.
  17. Definitely a lesser extent than the likes of cardale Jones and Haskins, but it was still mostly a one read, read option offense. CJ Stroud has honestly been one of the more impressive passers I've seen in college football in a while.
  18. As someone who has opposed pretty much every Ohio St. QB and wanted no part of Fields, Stroud is not like the rest of them. Most of the rest of them were run first QBs and relied on the read option. Stroud is not that. I haven't watched much of Ohio St. this year, but watching him last year, the dude was just dropping dimes to his wide receivers. He has unbelievable finesse/touch on his post & corner passes and is able to thread the needle into a small window. I think he is mobile enough and has good pocket presence to avoid sacks at a decent rate. I know Ohio St. has good WRs, but I think this year's cast doesn't even come close to the talent that was there last year. Olave, Wilson, and Smith-Nijgba is probably one of the best receiving groups on the same team I can recall in college football. I don't know enough about Levis and haven't been super impressed in the games I have seen him play, but I would be pretty shocked if Young goes ahead of Stroud, barring some type of injury to Stroud.
  19. Are we sure a lower PFF scores doesn't equate to a better performance? I'm trying to figure out how the PFF grades are so bad for our defense when they held the Bucs to 3 points and shut them down in the run game...
  20. Teams wouldn't put their best corner on CMC unless they want to have a mismatch with a team's #1 WR vs. their #2 or worse. And those routes you mentioned are pretty much the core of the routes you run for a WR, with the exception of a post/corner, curl, and go route (which is very difficult to do from the backfield). When he actually got the chance, CMC was pretty much uncoverable by safeties/LBs when he ran the option route of an out in the flats or an angle route. I think the only thing that would have me concerned with having him line up on the LOS is if he can get by press coverage (snapping the ball with him in motion minimizes that risk).
  21. Fair enough, although I think he benefited from Sean Payton's scheme's clever screens a ton. I don't think he has the route running ability of either CMC or Ekeler, but he has good hands and is hard to tackle in space.
