I hope the Notre Dame linebacker makes it to 39. Would be a great do-it-all linebacker that we need since we have nothing but bums at the position. We could get super creative on defensive schemes with Chinn and Owusu-Koramoah being such hybrid players

Um... Josh Norman was a lockdown corner that year and thrived in our zone D scheme. Agree Finnegan and McClain were bums and led to Sanders abusing them pretty badly in the Superbowl. And we had Ricky Manning and Mike Minter in the secondary for the 2004 Superbowl that both made big plays in the playoffs (Manning was the only reason we won that 2OT game against the Rams)

Wouldn't be opposed if the worst possible scenario of the top 4 QBs, Pitts, Chase, and Sewell are all gone. Don't like spending pick #8 on a guy that will most likely have to play guard in Slater. Trading to 15 still gives us the option for players like Darrisaw, Parsons, Farley, & Horn while probably picking up a 3rd and next years 1st from the Pats if they desperately want their QB before Denver.
