    Its been great to see Emory grow over the past few years, he's really turning into a solid commentator, and I do think hes dead on with his evaluation in this one.

    Ive always wondered why we didnt take flyers on special teamers in the 6th and 7th, the one time we did we nailed harrison butker, we were just too stupid to keep him.

    Trade back with NE to 15, Get a nice haul like pick 8 for NE 15, 2nd round, and 4th and a 4th next year. We pick Jaycee Horn at 15.

    We screwed our chance to get the Franchise QB when we beat Washington (I'm not complaining about it, it is what it is). That said, I think Darnold has as much of a chance as whoever will be there at 8.

    If we traded for darnold and had no plan to improve the o-line, then we legit are no better than the jets. Sewell or slater must be the pick at 8, Or the trade is worthless.

    FWIW, Adam gase legit might be one of the worst head coaches in modern nfl history. If it werent for Hue Jackson, he would definitely hold the title for the last decade or so.

    Steve Young was a "giant bust", Tampa moved on from him for a 2nd and a 4th round pick and drafted Testaverde. Steve Young has a gold jacket, Vinny (while decent career) does not.

    I'm willing to give him a chance. FWIW, Im hoping he turns into our Steve Young. Steve young was awful his first 2 years in the NFL, but change of scenery and a team around him that wasn't trash he ends up in the HOF. I'm not saying Darnold is a HOFer, but he absolutely could be a good NFL starter.

    sewell or slater at 8 with our weapons and a qb who doesnt eat paint chips might actually be pretty fun. hopefully sam is that guy.

    Jakes extension, and I say this as a die hard jake fan. That contract set us back and in fact harmed Cams development due to the cap situation.

    I agree with that, in fact, in this scenario, Option A) Detroit trades to denver or NE who take Lance leaving us with Sewell, Option B) Detroit stands pat and take Sewell and we get Lance at 8 without giving up any draft capital. IMO, this would be the play, and I say that as someone who has been all in on trey lance all offseason.

    I hope he proves me wrong and is actually really good, but its hard to ignore the fact the time he did get live action in 2019 was some of the worst qb play I've ever seen, not just for us, but for any team.

    I personally think tepper still wants watson and as like many are suspicious. If its true these are cooked up to hurt watson in a trade and eventually make the panthers look bad for still pursuing, watch for tepper to legit do what it takes to nuke this lawyer from orbit, ala buying a house of a person just to tear it down (something he's done).
