  1. From Peter King: Just saying there are options allowing to "easily replace the turf, on short notice"
  2. That bad 1-15 season, we were in almost every game. Made each loss harder than this
  3. Getting a sack on Bryce shouldnt count as a full sack stat on the defense.
  4. Who'd be left to call in plays from the sidelines? Lets use KAHOOT! for crowd-sourced play calling? (Online mobile phone voting app)
  5. Of course the crap Fox analysts wont show/explain that one
  6. Honestly, I didn't expect 0-0 at the end of the first, so this isn't nearly as bad on the board as the actual gameplay is making it look
  7. Do something! What we're doing now ain't working so why not try
  8. Bad FOX Color commentary: nope they didn't get the first down (The ball is 1.5 yards past the marker)
  9. Tried to keep it generic, just in case
  10. @CamWhoaaCam asked in the Panthers/Saints Game Thread: Watched the Squid Game drama just before watching Squid Game: The Challenge (I refuse to call it "The Challenge" -- that's a different, and superior, show) Really liked the overall production values. The setup for the Glass Bridge was fantastic (and behind-the-scenes talk discussed how they had stunt staff perform the actual fall-off-the-bridge piece, which is better than doing it via CGI) Liked the way the production handled the dorm riots/killing stuff from the drama and interpreted it in a way that worked in the game format Did not care for how the final cuts all came down, in essence, to games of chance rather than something more nuanced and conversation-starters. It's hard to cheer for/against a coin flip winner. Other behind-the-scenes gossip? The show was filmed last winter (early 2023) and it was cold/dry in the facility. The contestants resorted to using lubricated condoms as a substitute for chapstick.
  11. But would Tepper call Tomlin? https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/is-it-time-for-steelers-mike-tomlin-to-go-their-separate-ways
  12. Didn't want to bump a thread from Nov 2021 onto the main timeline, but what was shared by a different team's employee then seems to hold true today -- that everything we were/have experienced starts with the owner, and that coaches may be hampered in what they want to do with what ownership is requesting/demanding.
  13. Every off-season there's some amount of hope and anticipation. Might need to lower that expectation a smidge for the 2024 season
  14. NBC with an interesting clip showing Love, Farve, Rogers all throwing passes while taking small leaps off the ground… just like Bryce seems to do.
  15. The team stinks The team stinks OMG WHAT A TERRIFIC DRIVE Love this team!
  16. Seems like they may have found it (nope, spoke too soon) now they need to find that screaming woman and move her away from the broadcast. It’s not like there are a ton of fans left in the stadium right now, should be easy to track her down
  17. The CBS audio crew needs to figure out which hot mic is out in the rain and turn it off
