  1. I clearly misunderstood you as I have realized I actually agree with what your saying, I probably got carried away with seeing everyone trash Curtis with no real justification.
  2. For starters Robby didn’t even start producing in the NFL until he was 25, Curtis is 25 right now with even more room to grow in terms of his route tree. The NFL has changed, these distinctions of oh he can’t play X so he can’t be a WR1 are days of the past. Deebo is the perfect example so thank you, he is a RAC machine who might not fit the stereotype WR1 but is damn well a WR1 and a great one at that. Also Robby is just as limited if not more then Curtis, Robby is one of the weakest WRS I’ve watched in a while he struggles against press man mightily, he is as you say just a deep threat and he is more isolated to that role then Curtis is to a gadget player. Curtis produced great in the slot for us and as a RAC guy, Curtis is a very similar player to Deebo and in a Shannahan scheme he could probably be a WR1. I’m not saying in these current Mcadoo scheme that’s nessesarily possible for Curtis currently, but he is more of a WR2 then Robby is currently as well. Yes your right they could coexist on the same feild, they pair well but Curtis is the better pass catcher which indeed makes him the WR2 rather then Robby.
  3. The #1 receiver is more of a title than a position. I would say that your #1 receiver is the receiver who would get focused on by the opposing defence, as he is the most dangerous weapon for the passing game. It could be argued, for example in san francisco with Kittle, that even a tight end could be a team's number one receiver. Being wr 1 does not mean their just the X or the Y/F/Z. Also just so you know Robby is not even an X receiver, he doesn’t have the strength to beat off press man so he is limited himself.
  4. Please trade him he’s such a diva except he can’t actually catch.
  5. Dude wtf are you talking about, it doesn’t matter where you line up at to determine whether your a WR1/2/3/whatever the fug. Have you not watched any football in the last ten years? Look at Cooper Kupp, Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams etc, their all bonafide WR1’s who line up in the slot very frequently if not majority snap count. Every statistic I have showing Curtis Samuels superior efficacy metrics vs Robby. Curtis is more of a WR2 then Robby if anything Hes more efficient thus making him a SUPERIOR WR.
  6. Freezing cold take here dude, I’m going to statistically dismantle this. Robby this past season(in 17 games- 110 targets, 53 receptions,519 yards, 6.4% drop percentage, 50.5 rating when targeted, 48.2% catch percentage.) Now here are Curtis Samuels stats his last season here(in 15 games- 97 targets, 77 receptions, 851 rec yards, plus 200 rushing, 5.2% drop percentage, 109.2 rating when targeted, 79.2 catch percentage.) Curtis was more efficient and far superior in every receiving metric there is while also being a highly efficient RAC and in rushing downs. Curtis was a blast to watch on this team and the slander y’all give him is so unwarranted and so confusing why.
  7. Heck yeah if he’s cut I would love to bring Curtis back! Also besides last season Curtis has not had a history of injuries. Injuries happen to everyone, dudes a baller and has proved that. No joke you put him with Kyle Shannahan and he’s a pro bowler. Curtis > Robby
  8. That’s the other guy I was thinking of great memory! Man our defense was great that year but that was all our front 7, besides Norman it was kinda a poo show(Harper, Tre Boston, Finnegan, Mclain,) Also, this is a hot take but I would not want Robby anywhere near that team, bad team chemistry guy quick to place and deflect blame. As a WR unless your QB straight up fugs your wife then he should not be poo talking him to the media on any level.
  9. Taylor Moton, Dj Moore, CMC, Chinn if you count slot then Donte/Jaycee, Cortland Finnegan was not the same player at 31.
  10. Haynes is ready to be in a real rotation next year. He is a solid pass rusher, and he’s already proven that. Great to have guys like Haynes in backup roles.
  11. I would love to see Terrence take that WR 2 role. He balled out in preseason last year, he has the talent now let’s see if he can be utilized in this new offense.
  12. Teppers Brass Balls are finally getting their statue
  13. Gotta resign Burns and it seems like the front office 100% knows this and is prioritizing Burns extension. True pass rushers are so valuable retaining him is a must.
  14. Why are we worried about running by backs lmao, that’s probably one of of deepest positions by far, we are already heavily invested. Hubbard is our rb3 that’s pretty damn good to be honest. Let’s focus on the O-line, MLB, and DE for now. A good rb 4 is a useless luxury.
  15. This is exactly why espn is dumb, I would be shocked if we finished as the worst team in the league.
  16. Wow so amazed this is an absolutely game changing idea.
  17. One of Cams most underrated traits was his ability to make presnap reads. Coach’s throughout his career gave him the power to be the general of the offense for a reason.
  18. Couldn’t agree more, it’s easy to forget he literally had zero time last year to learn the playbook or build chemistry with his receivers. Cam will regardless be a better QB next year just having the ability to have time to learn the playbook.
  19. Cam is a standup guy, hard worker, and most importantly a great teammate for everyone on the team. I’ve yet to hear anything but massive praise for him as a teammate, Sam is useless in regards of Coralls development aside from competition for starting. Sign Cam have all three battle it out, and regardless of who wins you have a great mentor in Cam and a honestly really solid competition with Cam, Corall, and Darnold. We kept 3 qbs last year with one of them being PJ, I think keeping three is the move going forward in 2022 as well.
  20. Thank you for sharing this, legit had no idea Tarik went through all that. Prayers up for him what a tough dude with a big heart. I hope he gets signed, I would be happy with him here. I can’t imagine losing a brother let alone two and then one getting serious brain damage.
  21. Is our team so amazing that we could truly compete with a true game manager at qb? We both know any other QB trade/signing is just Rhule tryna save his ass, let’s roll with our group heck we just drafted a first round talented QB according to our guys.
  22. Very true man we really just had to pickup his 5th year option. Personally I see no reason to cut Sam, just let him play out his option year and let him walk. I am actually very optimistic about this team our Oline could actually be decent looking at who we signed this is gonna be a real ground n proud offense with a really solid defense. Last year we gave up such bad field positioning every drive to our defense. My hot take is we make the wildcard in the weak NFC.
  23. I genuinely agree our offense was so limited and Sam can definitely take a large portion of the blame for that. But, our offensive gameplan was also limited because no QB in our offense had any time in the pocket so we couldn’t throw the ball deep heck or even medium. Teams knew Sam struggles with pressure and just blitzed his ass all day and with CMC out our first read was not often a good option. Honestly Sam is probably one of the worst QBS under pressure I’ve watched, he’s 95% never going to be anything more then a backup. But there is a perfect situation where our oline holds up and CMC is his first read just like for the first 3 weeks last year. Let’s make Sam look good and get something of value in return of him.
