We made improvements no doubt but this defense still seems extremely soft to me. I know what the ranking are but damn we seem to be much less physical than the other team every week.

Serious question……this is the first time in team history I can’t think of a single area I am excited about for the future. I guess our D line is the closest thing but even that is a huge reach. I can legitimately say I would not be the least upset with any player traded from our current team in order to fix the disaster we have at O line and QB.

We need more tape to evaluate Sam for next year!!

Would a single person be upset if we traded down in the first and picked up an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick, then used every pick on offensive linemen? I know I wouldn’t.

10 points is the best we can do. We are that bad. I’m shocked we looked as good as we did for a quarter but you knew we wouldn’t play well after that. We are a SOFT TEAM on both sides.

Don’t get me wrong, I know our offense is the worst in the league, but this defense is soft regardless of our ranking and the thing Rhule tries to hang his hat on is such an improvement in defensive performance…..but they wear down after the half every game.

I wouldn’t stress too much just because we are ahead right now. It’s not like we are known for halftime adjustments and coming out strong

He's trying to show improvement over the next two games to save his ass so he won’t be truncating a rookie any time soon. Same reason our 2nd round pick is never playing.

Why wouldn’t you even consider letting him get in game experience even on an extremely limited basis if you are red shirting him this year? We are out of playoff contention and literally have garbage players starting who will not be with the team next year.
