  1. Source: @Verge This topic deserves its own thread and also because Verge is my hero. DEAR GAWD ALMIGHTY
  2. I won’t be mad with a franchise LT at 8. Will I be pissed about QB? Absolutely but not mad if we invest in the line
  3. I fully expect us to draft a LT so he can be a mentor and solid depth for us and can step in and start if needed. Our depth does not look terrible and I bet we pick up multiple G’s in the drafts later rounds/un drafted to see if anyone sticks
  4. Great value signing. We are a LT away from having a solid line. We actually have some decent depth now also and this is before the draft, so I’m thrilled. Now on to LT, QB, and CB so wrap up the offseason
  5. This has bad written all over it. Move on and draft a rookie, who we can build around with all the crazy cap we will have next season.
  6. Good pickup for #4 WR. He was rumored to be someone our GM would target. 6 TD’s last year
  7. DJ will have his best year yet. Samuel had the benefit of being covered by the third best cb or linebacker most of the time last year, and cashed out because of it. DJ will be a stud here for a very long time, and he hasn’t come close to reaching his ceiling
  8. Give me a starting quality CB and we are set up decent going into the draft
  9. Gotta love that deep green pff grade after seeing our MLB play last year by Whitehead
  10. 18. Haason Reddick, Edge/LB, Arizona Cardinals (27) He had a big second half of the season and finished with 12.5 sacks, which was tied for fourth league-wide. Reddick’s role in Arizona has changed about 400 times in four seasons, but he has shown pass-rushing chops. He’s a hybrid-type player who could be really fun with the right defensive coordinator.

  12. Who would want to come here with our line. We are set up to draft a QB unfortunately. We are at least a year away still.
  13. We have been “interested”in about 70 percent of the free agents so far it seems
  14. I don’t want to hear any logic around here. GTFO and never come back to the Huddle.
  15. Dumb move and he didn’t cost much at all.
  16. The contracts are extremely manageable no matter what. If they work out, it’s a very good price, if not, we aren’t killed in cap. People always freak out unless it’s a superstar who signs for league minimum. People also forget we needed starters and backups across the board on the line. Both guys signed can play multiple roles if needed so very good depth at a minimum.
  17. I don’t expect any big splash but I will be curious to see who does dive into the deep end of the pool. Cap space is extremely low this year compared to the past. We have the 11th most even after the Moton Tag.
