  1. We drafted Luke at #9. rooting for draft position is a “ shitty year wasted”.
  2. I don’t follow college ball but is there any chance Caleb Williams goes pro in 2023?
  3. I am far from a super fan but I very much enjoy the World Cup. I keep thinking I can be a better fan so maybe this year I can learn more. I know the controversy over the current site is old news but I found the Netflix series very interesting and keep learning more about the issues and the teams this year. Really looking forward to it but wonder what regular fans thought of the documentary?
  4. Panthers win division, win home wildcard against Giants then beat the Eagles at the Linc. Travel to Dallas to complete the NFC East sweep to end up in 3rd Suberb Owl !
  5. You guys are missing out. Great game day experience and dirty bird fans scarce
  6. I’m going and I’m going to have a blast! #lowexpectations + #alcohol + #friends __________________ good times and free time on Sunday!
  7. OMFG. Eli just asked Peyton who he was for Halloween and Peyton said he went as “CLETE BAKEMAN”. true story. #conspiracyconfirmed
  8. DJ Moore did not even get on “C’Mon Man!!” #norespect
  9. First in with, “we’re just two game out of division lead!!”
  10. I'm impressed with his maturity. Before the year is over he may be needed on the field again whether we want to hear that or not. As long as he has that uniform on and isn't pulling a "Robby" I will be rooting for him to succeed.
  11. Is that supposed to make me feel bad? #fail I drove to Death Valley to watch us get killed by the rams 3-38. Yes, I cheered that field goal. I was in the rain when we lost to New England to finish 1-15 I was in the stands in San Francisco when the refs won SB50 But I was also with the Roaring Riot in London, marching as a group to the "pitch" through the streets. And in Jacksonville marching to opening day. I have tons of winning memories with my team and I know I will have more winning memories in the future. With the Panthers, no other team. Investing emotions in the immediate success or failure of an NFL team is a poor choice. Invest for the long haul, which is what Keep Pounding is all about. I'm going to enjoy this win and expect us to come out of Atlanta with the division lead. I really don't care if that makes Huddlers miserable.
  12. Mirrors what Coach Wilkes said about PJ. Gonna be hard to keep him off the field.
  13. tanking = cheating, it really is that simple. Using the tanking theory you can justify/rationalize a lot of things. Hey, why not pass out PED's? It's only against the rules if you get caught, right? I would rather root for a 5 win team with integrity than a playoff contender with no integrity. JMO. signed, not a new fan.
  14. Whoever wins the NFC is just going to be fodder air the winner of the AFC so by this logic we should have 16+ tanks revving up
  15. All I know is that rooting for the niners to lose to improve our draft position is 1000 times more enjoyable than the doing the same to our Panthers for similar reasons.
  16. I agree it was time for the trade and I liked our compensation. But we got that compensation "because" he is a great receiver out of the backfield. If we discount that then CMC would never have gotten his huge contract or have been such a franchise risk if another injury occurs.
  17. I thought Baker was a mistake simply because of his attitude, not just his skill level. But when he became a Panther I sucked it up and supported him. If we give up draft capital to hire this weasel it will become much tougher to just keep sucking up the gut punches this organization routinely directs at their fans.
  18. How is asking for someone's opinion on a particular subject different than asking for their advice? Sounds like a conversation starter by someone in the FO speaking to glazer in what they thought was an off the record, joking manner. Not meant to be taken seriously. glazer of course, with an ego approaching the size of SP, took it seriously and ran with it. As other posters have said, revealing this comment shows tremendous disrespect to the entire Panthers organization by the NFL and NFL bottom-feeders like glazer.
  19. https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/christian-mccaffrey-trade-grades-49ers-panthers they gave niners B+ Carolina Panthers Tear it down. All of it. And get back as many draft picks as you can. That’s the goal for the Panthers, and it’s good that they did that with Robbie Anderson and now McCaffrey, and they should keep doing it with any big name that could fetch some good picks. So they did a great job here extracting as much value as possible with a player who wasn’t going to help them now or in the near future, one who also comes with some risk. GRADE: A
  20. https://clutchpoints.com/grading-the-49ers-panthers-trade-for-christian-mccaffrey/ gives niners B, Panthers B+ <best take> We’re a little sad for the Panthers fans since CMC has always seemed like a true favorite in Charlotte. They will surely remember him well. But this is the reality of professional football. It’s a business, and in this context, it was just time for both parties to part ways.
  21. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/gm-report/grading-the-panthers-49ers-christian-mccaffrey-trade Schuyler Callihan: C+ I disagree with the decision to trade McCaffrey as I believe it will somewhat hinder the search for the next head coach. That said, the Panthers get a nice haul of draft picks in return. Anytime you can trade a running back that has been injury prone for four picks, you need to take that deal, especially in this situation where the Panthers are going absolutely nowhere. Ian Black: A This feels like a really solid return when taking McCaffrey’s talent, contract, and tread on the tires. Two top-100 picks and a couple day three picks doesn’t have the shiny look of a 1st rounder, but this should help refill a cupboard missing a few pieces. CMC has been nothing but a class act in Charlotte and will always be loved by fans. The time just came for the two sides to part ways and do what was best for their respective futures.
