  1. Yeah I don’t understand this either.
  2. Hope we bring Wright back in the practice squad. Kid had potential if he stay healthy. BTW - Matt Corral was also waived. Expect he’ll be back as a PS signee as well.
  3. This I think I read that Kyler Murray is starting the season on PUP and if that’s the case it’s going to be rough sledding early on for the RedBirds.
  4. Hoping we bring back of few of these players to the PS. Guys like Vann, Spencer Brown and Kobe Jones showed some potential and could be developed with time.
  5. I’m hoping a few of these players with potential like Jones will be brought back on the practice squad. I’m also happy we’ve purged the roster of the Rhule-era rejects.
  6. Tremble is young and has some potential. Henderson gives us some depth at least. Jordan should’ve been released after Friday’s game. He’s useless.
  7. Our roster needs an overhaul for sure. We need to shore up our depth. I have little confidence in our 2nd or 3rd stringers if we suffer significant injuries to our starters this season. I remember Dan Morgan saying they were waiting on cutdowns to fill roster holes. Should be interesting to see who they may bring in.
  8. Just noticed McCall was cut by Patriots after failing a physical. Maybe Reich and the staff know what they’re doing after all? Good luck M&M - hope this is not the end of your career.
  9. Burned repeatedly all game long. Guys running wide open in the EZ. Sam Franklin and Bumper Poop need to stick to ST.
  10. Great stuff. I’m truly excited for the season and it’s been awhile since I could say that. Thanks Mr Scot.
  11. Yup. Cam was a freak of nature playmaker - measurable and athleticism off the charts and good enough to mask his lack of accuracy and mechanics. And a larger than life personality. Bryce is the antithesis of what Cam was. What he lacks in measurables and incredible showmanship he more than makes up for in processing and other intangibles. If we could somehow pair his brain with a player with Cam Newton’s physical prowess, we’d be scary as hell. I can’t wait to see this kid in action!
  12. KC and Philly has a similar offensive philosophy. Sure you have your Devonte Smith, AJ Brown and Travis Kelsey all-pro receivers but these teams effectively spread the ball around to different backs and receivers to keep opposing defenses guessing. I can see the Panthers following suit at least to a degree under Reich.
  13. Holy poo! Hornets making a statement. Now they need to commit to building this team around its best player.
  14. Fitt made an interesting statement after they drafted Jammie Robinson: “We are one team. We stress that. There are no egos here…we’re never going to take a player and shove him down a coach’s throat or just because coaches want him. We want players the staff wants to coach.” This right here should get any Panthers’ fan fired up. Makes you wonder if this is what was happening under the previous regime. It appears the “square peg, round hole” days are over! I also like that Fitt, Reich and staff are not afraid to embrace players that have an edge, that “dog” mentality. Can’t wait ‘til the season starts!
  15. It’s no use man. You can’t reason with the Scoot fans at this point. And I get it… Scoot will be a great player but it doesn’t mean Miller won’t be either. The off field stuff is just an excuse for the pro-Scoot crowd to hate on the pick.
  16. Give Tepper credit for encouraging their retention by the new staff. Both are outstanding coaches.
  17. Yeah but you can’t really blame him. McDaniels is a douche to play for it seems.
  18. Looking forward to his contribution to the defense. One question - why is he missing from the roster on the Panthers’ website?
  19. Exactly. If we had stayed the course and stuck with Wilks, I doubt we’d move up to get a QB and even if we did, it’s unlikely we’d have confidence in the staff to develop him successfully as we have now.
  20. You can tell by how emotional he got that he really took this loss hard. He put the blame on himself and wouldn’t throw his teammates under the bus, which shows real leadership. For guys who are competing at the highest level, these types of interviews can be really tough to get through.
  21. Keep an eye on Derek Wright. He came to us an UDFA under the previous regime and looked good during his limited playing time last preseason (against the Commandos). Good route running and catches the ball well. Reminds me a Proehl a little. Will make nice strides in this offense.
