  1. Evero is trying to get fired. Wonders why he even agreed to come back in the first place.
  2. Crazy thing is Mayfield was deadly accurate today, but both of those drives capped off by FGs he had guys open in the end zone and simply missed them. The score actually could have been worse.
  3. We went 3 and out three consecutive times because our defense sucks. Duh! Don't you know how football is played?
  4. That's why he's always open, he's a #3 quality WR?. Thielen's main limitation is if Bryce can hit him. Only 67 players have more receptions. He's not a #3. He's honestly a #2, although our #1, and the fact that Bryce relies on him so much shows how valuable he is. Thielen happens not to suck because he wasn't drafted and 'developed' here. If so, he probably would be a #3, if in the League at all. Thank you Vikings for showing us what a WR should look like.
  5. Irving was one of the pups, though. I think they had two young Divsion II WRs out there today. People here are quick to point out Coker went to Holly Cross and that our WR corps is so crappy having to ask a D-2 guy to step in the lineup. The Bucs have a couple of D-2 guys at WR and don't need to make any excuses for their passing game.
  6. You did keep hearing the commentators talk about Tampa's unlikely supporting offensive cast, right? Besides Evans, they had a bunch of pups and backups for pass catchers. It goes to show scouting and development is crucial for young players to flourish and the Panthers suck at both.
  7. Glimpses of a legit QB is all we ever have and will get. A couple of legit NFL drives a game mixed in with a bunch of duds.
  8. While true, it basically tanked the season. Thus, tanking. They weren't winning many more games with Jones, but put in an average backup for the rest of the year, and presto, almost rest assured of losing out. Granted, they might squeak out a win today, but still will be in the best spot to draft the first QB as the Pats don't need one.
  9. Lol, that's funny. Bryce Young causing teams to cut players. It's a look into the future actually. A cautionary tale of of rewarding a mediocre QB with a lucrative second contract.
  10. The Bucs have a couple of starters out in the secondary as well. Injuries are part of the game, no excuses.
  11. Cutting your starting QB mid-season is completely normal, you know the one just re-signed to a massive contract. Yes, they still play the games.
  12. If he's still there. There's going to be a few teams standing in the way. Hunter goes #2 and Sanders will go somewhere in there (Raiders). If things stay the same, there's four opportunities for him to get scooped ahead of us.
  13. Sounds like a perfect fit for the Raiders! Nevada and Colorado are practically neighbors. Prime would have a really short flight to see his son play, that is if he doesn't get hired outright to coach Las Vegas.
  14. You think Bryce is an elite QB? Lol. It was a general statement, if I were a GM building a team with limited cap resources and I could either afford an elite QB and average WRs or pay two elite WRs and a top slot guy and get a middle of the road QB, I'm taking the first proposition every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
  15. Pulling for the Saints so we get a least a top 10 pick. I think the Raiders lose out. Even if the Bills sit some starters, I think they still win against the Pats. The Bears aren't winning any more games. The Jags probably win versus the Titans today meaning the Titans likely lose out. All that said, I think we lose out too and stay where we are at, maybe moving up one spot due to tiebreakers on SOS.
  16. That's his fault we suck? How would you feel if Drew Brees was calling a game recently and super hyping the heck out of an awful Saints team? You would be like b*tch please. Nobody wants to hear Greg pander, apologize for and prop up a really bad Panthers team just because he played here.
  17. Define your "hump?" No, I'm serious, because the metric of success to define "getting over the hump" will be different from person to person. I bet some think we have because Bryce is playing better and we have already won more games than last year.
  18. A #3? Number 2, yeah, on most teams. We don't have to sale Thielen short just to try to make a point. Poor drafting and development of young WRs along with other misfires in FA is why our WR corps is the way it is. All that being said, I'd rather have an elite QB and an average WR corps than an average QB with an elite group of WRs.
  19. Thielen isn't the problem, maybe the other WRs, so your point missed the target. Dalton looked bad once Adam got injured. When he came back a month later and Bryce was the QB, the passing game got better.
  20. With Watson restructuring in Cleveland, only the Titans stand between Sanders and the Raiders if the pecking order stays the same.
  21. Listening to sports talk this morning, they said this is a horrible draft to be needing franchise QB. Suggested in a more typical QB draft, Sanders and Ward would be mid-to-late first rounders.
  22. Stock diminished and currently injured Carson Beck declared for the draft. Any takers?
  23. Shot called....Boone is going to feast. He's going to go over 100 yards, not just barely. I won't go as bold as 150, though.
  24. One of the bottom defense in the League, but all we heed is WRs? Okay. Hopefully Bryce and his new WRs can drop 30+ about every week.
