First round is BPA, period, regardless of position. We are too poor of a franchise to be saying "we're good" at any, repeat ANY position. We can easily move on from bookmarks like Sanders a Blackshear. Super easy, no sweat. Chuba is playing like an above average back. He's not, nor ever will be a Jonathan Stewart, DeAngelo Williams or CMC. He's more of a Nick Goings or Anthony Johnson. Sure, he'll get you 1000 yards in a season, but is that the best we can do? I agree Brooks is done. We won't give up on him in the near term, but penciling him in for a roster spot in 2025 would be a colossal blunder.

Actually he was a body catcher and the reason I wasn't as high on him as some. If he somehow feel to us in the 2nd round, I would have been fine with him. I did not have a first round grade on him due to body catching and route running being insufficient.

Never take a guy in the first round that's a body catcher as a WR. I'd take a slower and shorter WR that's got super glue for hands over a tall and fast guy with hands of stone. That said, I wanted McConkey.

Very possible. He's good at identifying needs, but so far lacks identifying the talent. He nailed nearly every position last draft we needed, but I would have got a different player at that position nearly every time.

Well, Morgan jumped the gun with Chuba, IMO. Maybe by the time Young is up for his contract we could trade Hubbard. I think Brooks career is already over. It's sad and I hate it or him, but he's got a slim to no chance of bouncing back. I wish him well. That said, thinking he's our future is really bad planning.

I like safety, but not before the 3rd round. We have too many other needs. Safety is like the FB of the defense. It has it's place, but the front 7 and top 3 corners are WAAAAY more important.

Solid offensive line play is the main reason for his resurgence. I'm still in the wait and see camp. I'm pretty sure I know how this plays out long term. People are captured in the moment and not thinking long term. Remember, Bryce is still on his rookie contract and we can divert resources elsewhere, for NOW...like the OL. I could be wrong be wrong , but I have a felling we Daniel Jones this thing before it's all said and done.

Meh, Legette has had some issues but the crazy plays Thielen's made compensates for it.
